Gelion plc (GELN.L), the sulfur battery company, has announced a strategically significant Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the US Department of Energy’s National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR), formerly NREL. Under the CRADA, Gelion and NLR will use Gelion’s Nano-Encapsulated Sulfur (NES™) Cathode Active Material (CAM) to validate an all-domestic supply chain in the US for advanced battery technologies and progress to qualification of battery cell manufacturing within twelve months.
