I normally wake up every morning around 6 bells and post-p iss the first thing I do is reach for the phone and check for your and the other EUA stalwart's morning messages. I've been doing this since I first bought Eurasia shares over 3 years ago now. Hell, it might have been one of your messages which spurred me to take the plunge and invest in this once in a lifetime share. Would just like to wish you the very best for your health and I hope you make a full recovery. Your health issues sound very similar to a cousin of mine who had prostate cancer around the beginning of the millennium. About a month ago he became a grandad for the first time and would pass for a 50 year old instead of his approaching seventy. I remember talking to him at the time and he said the most important thing was to try and remain positive. Well, I can't think of anyone on this board who is more positive than your good self (well, maybe the Captn)!!! Wisbing you well and a full recovery. Zeppo

Wolster, I would beg to disagree with you on this one. I believe that the BOD knew exactly what was going on and had a prepared RNS ready to go out this morning. I reckon the transfer of the shares to Veles for 29p is all part of the sale process which hopefully will reach its conclusion in the not too distant future.

Folks, in all my days spent share trading (some good, some not so good, some dire), I don't think I've ever come across a company like Eurasia, where the BOD seem genuinely keen to see the little man (ie: Us) get his big pay day. What happened yesterday seemed rash and reckless and has lost a lot of money for investors, many of whom will be livid and incandescent with rage today. The stock market can be a cruel swamp with all sorts of poisonous and evil vipers. We will probably never find out the real reason why he sold that tranche of shares yesterday but what I do know is that Veles, "one of the oldest professional institutional investors in Russia" are in @ 30p and their staff are no doubt at this moment in time guzzling vast quantities of rum in their Moscow (or wherever) offices!!
