Today on here started with two good posts from Jim and Star, and it has now transcended into lockdown frenzy posts.
It amusing to note that Florida isn't on lockdown (a stones throw away) but people are worried that the poxy UK is going into lockdown, despite being a few nautical knotts away.
Look forward to a blue week and less panic stations.

Understand both points and agree to a degree but can't help feel its cat and mouse game , as SP pointed out most thought BPC wouldn't have got this far alone. If it is a gusher on P1 which opens up the rest of the 80km area there are going to be people in board rooms asking how and why this could happen without a major.

Excuse my ignorance here in the oil sector, if the major has seen the data and a farm in is on the cards, wouldn't it make sense just to do a buyout of BPC so they get all the pie. I am sure its cheaper now than it would be if indeed there is +2 billion barrels down there??
