According to today's papers, Celtic could be onto approx £12500 per day if all players possible are selected for their worlds cup squads. This starts 2 weeks before the cup and continues whilst the players are still there. Well Bob, there goes that £7million debt you have been on about. But NO! we are still in debt to the tune of £130,000. Do you think the company can sustain such high levels. Tonights game will see nearly 60,000 spectators paying an average of £40 per head(being conservative) brining in over £2.4million, add to that merchandise, hospitality,TV rights,Champions League cut etc etc and you can see how the Champions League is a cash cow. Celtic PLC have announced that in the interim figures, they have still to factor in the Champions League money which will be included in the final accounts. Bob You talk a load of Lilian Gish. You are hung up on the £7.2 million debt declared last year. Look at the profits for this year which will blow all debts out the water. Last year Ki was sold for £7million just after accounts were published, take into account money earned this year from Champions League, Premier League, Scottish Cup, League Cup semi-final, T.V , merchandise etc etc and £7.2million will be long forgotten. Celtic in line to make in excess of £25million profit this year
