When we secured the interim ppa you could be forgiven for thinking that news would be plentiful and would arrive in double quick time but not our tlou. After being told on numerous occasions By the company that funding talks were at an advanced stage and would follow a ppa announcement pretty quickly here we are still waiting.. it can’t just be me that’s pished off with the bod surely!!!

How do you see that drop as being good for next news? Shows what the market thought of the solar news.

Down 9% in oz. looks like we’re on our way back to all time lows again. Tin hats on again!!

I wonder if a deal is still tantalisingly close? I expect we’ll find out around Christmas time (another 8 months should give them enough time)! Hopefully.
A decade we’ve been in Botswana and we still haven’t connected to the grid, haven’t got commercial gas flows, are running out of cash, have no customers for our power signed up! Not bad for 10 years work. Big pat on the back for the bod. Oh and a decimated sp, well done tlou!!

How much longer must long term holders endure this talk of doing something without actually doing something!!! Where’s the funding colm said was pretty much there. That’s why the market hasn’t reacted to the news as it’s just more talk of what they could achieve without actually following it up with something substantial to progress the project. The market and long term holders need to see something concrete come of this waffle! Where are the returns that holders have been promised? 3 years of nothing.

Seems like the markets were unimpressed with yesterday’s news!! Just more waffle until they secure funding. So at the moment we have gas but not enough flowing to power much until we drill more production pods to help with dewatering and now we want to have solar which is great but we have no money for either. No funding deals in place just a load of waffle about securing one that’s been talked about for years. It’s all talk until they get something signed.

There isn’t going to be a next couple of years if they don’t secure funding. This company doesn’t feel like the one we all invested in all that time ago.

Well that’s gone down well! Thought we were a gas to electric company that was going to introduce some solar into the mix, not sure that’s the case now. Feels like we are going to be a solar power producer who will use a bit of cbm in the mix! So where’s the funding then? Time is slipping again to q2 2021 and that will definitely slip again as this company don’t get anything done on time.

Why would you even bother buying £13 worth, what is the point?

Not sure why Africa hasn’t embraced solar. But to put it in perspective I’ve worked in electrical estimating before and it should take no longer than 2 weeks at the very most to get quotes back from an installations company. If the company isn’t that busy then you would expect it back in a week. So I just don’t understand why it takes our bod so long to get something sorted in respect of the solar side of things. It really is unbelievable.

Brad I’m not concerned with the ppa that’s pretty much done for now, solar keeps coming up and has been mentioned for years so why after all that time do they not have anything tangible in place? It’s not hard to design a solar array of any size, it doesn’t take long to build so what’s the problem, the problem is that it should have been sorted an absolute age ago. But true to form from our bod they have produced nothing!! 2-3 years for them to have something in place to sign but no, not our bod, they just let everything drag on. I’m sure you’d be able to get a quote from solar installation companies in pretty quick time but we manage to talk about it for years without getting an end product. And the finance is exactly the same, they’ve been in advanced discussions with parties who are willing to put the funding in place for so long that it’s a joke, and they still can’t manage to get anything signed off.

I cant fathom how our bod have not got anything else lined up (news wise) after a wait of 2 years for a ppa, why is there not a raft of news following? I mean what exactly have they been doing beside obtaining a ppa, we’ve got a couple of production pods but what else? In all that time they still haven’t been able to sort finance ( we were led to believe that this was close to being finalised before Christmas) or all this talk of solar they’ve been spewing for years has come to absolutely nothing. These items should have been signed off long ago. They have apparently spoken with solar companies, well for gods sake sign something you cretins, it doesn’t take this long to design a solar array. You would think that after the ppa the bod would want to continue the news flow and keep the sp ticking over but no, our useless bod go into hibernation mode again.

I can’t believe this company didn’t have all the news lined up once they had obtained the ppa! It’s incredible. How can they say it’s tantalisingly close and then silence for months. Can’t believe anything that colm says! We’ve probably got another few months wait for anything now. Unbelievably slow at getting anything done here. Well tic toc the money is running out boys.

I can’t believe how the company has misled us about funding, from comments like being tantalisingly close 5 months ago, in other interviews they have hinted it’s not far away but still we have no funds and existing cash levels are running out. Same old bull in that rns. Absolutely no chance are the transmission lines going to be finished this year, if they get the funding ( big if) you can probably add on another year before we are connected to the grid going by all the other timelines that have been missed by this company.

No problem, I know we lock horns every now and then but don’t hold that against me. Nice rise in oz!

Like I’ve said before I’ve been invested here for a long time so i definitely will have my say about a bod who up until now have been a shambles, who took the shareholders down one route with no back up plan which has caused 3 years of stagnation pretty much and left shareholders counting the cost of their inaction. I will continue to call them out if I think they deserve it, as they have taken this company to all time lows. But let’s see if they can turn it around, I certainly hope so for the long term holders as we deserve to see this sp rise. I’ve only ever used Lse from the first time I started investing and will continue to only use lse. Well before lse I used the share pages in the news papers but that was a long while ago.
