No date has been set. 'Once the report is completed' is all they've said. There has been no definitive remit made public. We know they are examining their accounting processes / practices but not sure if they are also looking at whether the actual numbers are accurate. Bear in mind DT have revised published figures twice in the past 18 months due to oversights or changes in the way figures were presented. There is speculation the report could be out in April but that is all there is.

steviewonder77 / Nothing wrong with that. You're following your convictions. Despite what some may think here, I believe, like you presumably, that DT have a novel approach to a hot, but crowded space. I have absolutely no idea if it has a technological edge over its competition, but suspect it may. My concerns are with the governance that, to me have scored a number of own goals. I wish I could share the enthusiasm of some posters for this stock but my profit and loss account would point to the paper loss I am sitting on. All that being said, if the model is more agile than the competition and works there will be benefits in the future. I do not buy into the whole takeover scenario as if it was that attractive it'd have been bought by now.

SW77,well done to you then. Yes 80's (and 90's) saw interest rates at levels not seen since. Unfortunately the banks are quick to raise rates for borrowers but not for savers. Have you liquidated this time, given you feel there'll be another crash?

Sheltie, I am regularly impressed by the way that events take a different course to every rational (or not) scenario pontificated over by those in the know and armchair pundits like myself. Covid was an epidemic happening in China - until it wasn't, Ukraine war was widely trailed publicly by US intelligence yet wasn't priced in until it happened, inflation has been rampant for eighteen months but came as a surprise to the central banks. And yet, and yet Mr Market goes with the flow. hopefully this downturn is another over correction that will be a distant memory in a few months - or not.

Lending, I believe it is a Chinese 'mild' curse. "May you live in interesting times".

Lending - thank you, I thought there would be something like that after I posted as the MMs can (and do) manipulate the price to some extent by holding or releasing stock.

aadj, put simply, if 10 investors sell 100k shares each and 4 investors buy 250k shares each then buys =4, sells =10, volume =2m shares.
Thats how I understand it but I am keen to learn if incorrect.

Is the ratio of sells to buys significant?

Someone else raised the issue of w whether ey will be auditing the numbers of the processes that produce them. I think the announcement that the ebitda has been revised down by 10% due to 'new ' ways of accounting for two directors share deals shines a light on this.

Do 'a lot' of people believe all of the above? How many is 'a lot'?
I certainly hope for most if not all of the above (takeover would boost SP but not fit my long term goal) but there is absolutely no added value in any of it and potentially harm. Oh IMO.

SW, I don't know if you watch Prem League but there are many that say VAR isn't working now and think it might already have been hijacked. :-)
