See also the number of upcoming exhibition events. They must be fairly optimistic about GenS' prospects.
I noticed on LinkedIn that there has been a few promotions and (seemingly growth) positions adverted recently. This is a positive indication that the business is fairly optimistic.
Agreed we just need some good news come the end of the month for this to significantly rerate. I'd argue this is now a better business than it was 10 years ago when it was worth 90p.
This share is so illiquid. I've been watching this for years but am quite likely this price point and the direction the company is going in.
Going to take a punt.
I think the usual pricing is either day-ahead or monthly average, unless they have any hedges in place. Depends on the contract but I think that is relatively standard, so basically it's floating price until delivery.
Just hold for a few years. This will be a multibagger. For the AIM commodity stock, this is as much as a "sure thing" as there is, given the partners it has and status of the projects.
That must have been some ride. Sounds like I'm one of the newer LTH - only been here since the Chinese consortium debacle!
I don't really understand the drop here, have been waiting to get in this share for years and now finally have the opportunity.
Missed out on Boohoo at 20 odd pence or so a few years back, but I always thought ASOS was the better company. Happy to hold or take profits, depending on how this moves. Would ideally long term hold this but there are also lots of trading opportunities at this moment.
Freddie - I'm of a similar view to you. Always like shares at a discount but this looks more suspicious than a Nigerian Prince selling you a used car.
The Interim CFO was the Global Head of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and yet they were clueless to this fraud? These guys look like a bunch of amateurs. I'm staying well away thank you very much. Will watch from the sidelines with interest.
Damn adamstallone. 105p is easily reachable. Hell even 200p isn't that much of a stretch if they can get their act together and just do their job properly and fix Ghana long term.
That's not asking for a miracle, it's literally part of their core competency.
I'm jealous - you will be retiring quite soon I think...
Just a measly 850k here :)
That's a very good point. Use Shell's cost of carrying the drill programme as a reference for the value of CLNR's remaining equity.
Obviously Shell are looking to make a profit as well so it's clear that the share price here is well below fair value. Patience will be rewarded.
If we do get weekend press on this it will rocket to that level for sure.
I was in the last time this was in the Evening Standard, and it 5x in a period of 10 days or so, before falling back down again. This time round there is much less risk, and supported by tangible value.
Let's wait and ride this out until it reaches a fair price.
Was in an made a really tidy profit a couple of years back on the last spike, but now it's for the real deal. Delighted to be able to buy back in at this price.
Bring on the development and production phase.
Thanks for sharing, great find. You've convinced me to top up a little tomorrow :)
Nice find.
Given the lack of activity here, it's clear that the general public hasn't appreciated the opportunity here barring the initial surge on the day of the announcement. I've doubled down on this small price drop. Time to wait for farm in news and profit. Sentiment in the oil markets are returning and this is a great bet.
Time to sit tight for the next month or so. This will move. Just wait until people are back after the holidays in 2018.
Multiples of our current $15m market cap I would imagine!
Those days are gone, but even if we get $1-$5 per barrel, this is still $70m - $350m worth. Stupidly good value currently. Was thinking of jumping in Premier ahead of year end results, but jumped onto this instead. Hold tight and collect your profit guys and girls. I jumped in at $2.05 yesterday - a bit high but still very comfortable at this price.
Good to see others here. The share price is hilariously low. This is one of the few shares with only UK exposure that I'm happy to hold considering Brexit risk - it's just too cheap to be of a concern even if things go a bit south.
