Unbelievable unawareness

Some positive news during the last few months. Decent dividend and headed to 370p by March I reckon. Any thoughts from other holders?

Flying with Monarch next week I took the precaution last night of pricing up alternatives. Malaga return with Monarch was originally �120. Last night Jet2 was �116 and Ryanair was �97. This morning jet2 is �290 and Ryanair is �275. Nice earners for the survivors like EZJ

I follow this board with great interest. In fairness I have correctly predicted the share offer price (to within 0.4p I believe) and more importantly I have been suggesting for many months that we would be bought out for a song. A disgrace too but when did morality enter the equation when profits are concerned? My shares have now been sold (at a reasonably healthy profit sorry). I notice GW and Chanjael have gone very quiet on here and I hope that they too have sold whilst it was in the early 50's as I did. As prev stated I bought AVG at 223 and will retain until they hit 255-270. My advice would be don't wait around for the inevitable but instead sell and come back in November as matters settle at HAYT around 37p.DYOR and GLA

Botrytis (noble rot) is actually highly sought by some vintners creating some of the world’s best sweet white wines eg the Sauternes. Infected grapes subject to reduced humidity (c60%) ARE KEY. Guessing these guys are not trading EDEN.

Like most fungi, Botrytis spores require a film of water in which to germinate and initiate infections.The fungus thrives in high humidity. Infection requires that tissues remain wet for at least several continuous hours (rain).

AVG back to within a penny of their price on the day they expressed interest in HAYT and down 3 or 4% on the day. As expected, and I said months ago, HAYT is being given away at this price and having their backs to the wall has not helped. I know my next share purchase.GLA

Thinking we shall hear that AVG are off and RBS are on tomorrow. Status quo and back to 37p by the end of the month. its been an interesting and exciting time. I now see why HAYT announced the contract wins in the days following the AVG approach. Hope I am wrong for you guys as I got out after the last RNS extension.

Just caught up on the board. Thanks all for the takes on the current position as it's always interesting to hear the views of others. Think GW is right that we shall all know where it's going before any RNS as the lead up to this deadline was, after all, remarkably quiet on trades and told it's own story.GLA

No of course it is not privileged info but it doesn't take too much experience to view it as a distinct probability

Seems likely IMO that AVG have taken a step back after due diligence reveals weaker financial position and future than expected and the bank in turn is possibly reassessing their faith in HAYT. AVG and HAYT share price heading towards pre bid positions and in the case of the latter lower 30's. I think some on this board were carried away with hopes of 80-100p buyout and are now regretting holding.

I still have that feeling there could possibly be a suitor from North Eastern Asia joining in on the fun
