If vote is no without immediate higher offer someone will jump in and pick up MVC for 2 pence right away. That would be a steal for them. FinKit and rest can then be sold off separately. The players who want FinKit don't want MVC and those who want MVC don't want FinKit. Sell them separately at 2 pence each.

Agree. If they don't get 2.90 pence then another £20 million would likely close the deal....that amount will not stop them at these valuations.

I am still stunned at the valuation that the board and executives are publically accepting. If voted down and no increased bid from Fiserv then likely will be sold off in parts. Tough to say how the share price will react...

That is what the market is stating. The sale price implies either that it's worthless or that MVC will not sustain itself. The patents, the partnerships, the bank business relations, the technology, the talent. 5 years of FinKit planning and development and all worthless..??

New board will come in with new leadership. IBM coming to the rescue here and they will not let Fiserv walk away with this at this price.

If there is another interested buyer then they will show their face in July. This was a low ball offer and I agree with some on here that either IBM will jump in the mix or Fiserv will up the offer by 30%+ to get enough votes. FINKit can be leveraged significantly on the right balance sheet. Good luck!

Vote needs to be within the next 3-6 weeks. Do they let it get close? Do they try to get the 75% and fail first?

Will not get 2.9 pence vote through. They either up it 30%+ or walk away. I think they up it- not gonna hold up over $30 million.

The offer is a joke and will not pass the vote. Assumes that FINKit and MEA are worthless when they are the reason for acquisition. MCV and cash value are alone worth more than the offer. Revised offer will be £100 million to £120 million (about 4.5 pence) minimum range. Good luck.

In the last 3 years about $1.5 billion of investor money lost here. 1) Cooperman lost about $200 million. 2) Pearson lost $50 million. 3) MasterCard lost $50 million.

They are shooting for 10% is my guess and will say price not adequate. They see more value in individual entities or they would not do this.

They expect a counter offer...Will IBM make a statement here?
