Does anyone find it odd that the government is investing money without clear indication of commeriality
Speaking of things happening quietly in the background. What is our eye in the sky reporting?
We are broke. Who's going to pay for the lawye? Maybe we have a lawyer here who is willing to take this case on pro bono.
I agree 100%. It especially rings true here in Canada
Starting to look that way. I really hope we are wrong and that we do end up with great results by year end. Like really hope.
I believe that Origin has been taking advantage of Falcon's weak position ever since Sasol took off. Hopefully the Sheffield addition can help Falcon steer this company to some level of worth.
Hi T , Yes I see that. Sorry about that. Hope these guys are right.
I believe the article is from kip herriage so I wouldn't put too much weight on it.
How we have some good news tomorrow. it would make you 2 for 2 Baba.
Australian government should encourage more russian oligarchs to invest in falcon so that they can lose all their money and be tormented like the rest of us long term holders
I think the Greens are more of a security risk to Australia's energy and economic future than this 15% investment in Falcon. Europe and especially the UK can attest to that.
Actually quite suprised on how the stock price is holding up, especially after our wait has been prolonged another 10 months or so.
Hey Poods feel sorry for me POQ is doing just fine.
Just like what Origin is doing with falcon. Bleeding them dry
Santos agreed not to undertake any further petroleum activities on EP161 at( Tanumbirini Station )until December 31, 2022.
Someone should have asked him to address the following, which in my view stalled a declaration of commerciality by 5 years. Totally unacceptable:
From Oleo's Post:
6 from 11 plugs not milled out and not removed at the Amungee NW 1H is grossly negligent.
If the operator would have cleaned out the whole horizontal section, there would be a good chance that a commercial production rate would have been demonstrated already and Fog would be in a much better situation ( no oil company would put money on the table for a hypothetical normalized production rate)
Sounded more like a Tamboran/Santos AGM than a FOG AGM.
Was that POG's brother in law asking all the questions?
Sounded like it was the first time in their lives ever being on a conference call, my goodness. Thanks to COVID, it's been two years that POQhasn't had to answer any tough questions at an AGM.
With the appointment of the new non executive chairman an old joke comes to mind.
What is the difference between a non executive board member and a shopping cart ?
-There is only so much food and drink you can fit in a shopping cart.
Did anyone find the timing of the press release a little strange? POQ chose to release it on a Friday before a US and Canadian long weekend. In my experience good news is always released on a Monday and bad news on a Friday. Something to think about as it took away the opportunity for the Canadian and US investors to take advantage of Monday's gains.
Pretty terrible if you ask me after 12 years of pure hell.
Amazing news. Congrats to all the LTHs. I know I was starting to lose my ****. We needed this news badly.
