My take on this is that the board believe they can do better than the May all asset purchase proposal. I am reading between the lines that they may have an arrangement with an EV/battery firm in Japan that could be looking to take an equity interest and provide a prepaid offtake arrangement.

Battery metals are all the craze these days and palladium seems to also now be developing a role in making lithium batteries more effective. The Chinese are picking off lithium assets across the globe and a huge shallow palladium resource as in Kola is definitely also in demand.

This is goin to increase in value with some multiple, but timing is not known, can be tomorrow, can be in 1 month or 3 months. Just sit tight and don't let price inaction force you to sell out.

Look into AVZ minerals listed on ASX. They have a world class Lithium resource in the Congo and have been fully financed by Chinese equity participation (25%). This seems to be a fairly near term supply, considering mining timelines

Chinese 25%
State 25%

The end return is not just the dividend per billion but what is the future value of assets retained

Rosgeo will not likely sell out. They have the resources which some are worth billions and nobody in their right mind gives that away for nothing

Rosgeo likely see that EUA has a better chance to develop these assets and raise institutional financing to get there. The 25% is their golden egg which they will realise some years in the future

Don't even see the placing as a dilution.

Yes my total minimal % shareholding is now lower but money did not go out the window to meet dents that could not be paid or piles of remuneration for board. This is to be used to acquire a venture that has more resource than originally thought. This is only positive

And if I want to bring my % holding up to where it was, can just top up at a price lower than ii paid for (26p)

The placing, ii interest and implied increase in value of Rosgeo is a good positive development but as I see things this is for longer term development. This will certainly add lots to the market value of EUA, just not holding my breath that it will happen tomorrow but rather over time

As I see things WK, MC and MC flanks are the projects to be ramped up/start production over the near term

My thinking is that
- WK,MC,MC Flanks would be part of any disposal and dividend payment
- Rosgeo will be what remains of EUA after the dividend and will create value in future, possibly billions, but it is a long road ahead

Todays fall is not only about EUA, all commodity shares hit badly

While we all speculate as to what is going on, would make sense just to sit back and understand that the BoD own more than 20% of EUA. They have a huge incentive to see the sp go up, seal the best deal and so on.

BoD would never agree to dilute their stake if they cannot see the significant value that can come from this

As I said before, sale is not the holy grail. It may make more sense for EUA to hold on to the projects, develop the financing sources and mine the metal themselves.

I don't follow why people speculate about acquisition date, tomorrow, next week and so on. Although I work in manufacturing and not mining, I would say acquisition process is the same. The two parties will agree on the terms, enter into a transaction agreement but this will only close after various further due diligence is down (economic, environmental, legal and so on). This process I have seen taking 6-9 months +. In Russia things to take longer as the legal work needs to be more thorough.

The board announced a good offer on 12th May and the parties have most likely signed a non disclosure agreement so they can say nothing. The closing and final deal will come when it comes.

This just following the same trend as the August RNS. Good news followed by sharp sp drop as a sale is not announced

Sale of assets is not a holy grail, it could be very lucrative if the price is good enough to dispose of the longer term growth potential. BoD in my view doing the right thing, considering the best mining plan and considering how flanks and Rosgeo will add value. This gives a solid message to a buyer, pay up if you want these world class assets

I will buy more shares if it drops to 25p but I don't expect to get that opportunity

Again we see a huge bounce off 30p and sp in the Green now

Profit taking / shakeout seems to have run its course and the buyers coming in.
