The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
JD I have to admit I was rather shocked by the size of their victory in the requisition vete which I put down to KS & co being regarded as being untrustworthy. As for the assets & strategy we'll we have several NS licenses which I believe will be quietly dropped over time. Simwell was a joke imo, Parta I don't think will ever be drilled & Daybreak, well the less said the better. I'll give you CS although 1st gas in 2026 will probably be subject to delay. Maybe we can sell our share beforehand as by my estimation we will be running on fumes by then. That leaves WN, a project they regard as being their flagship but show no willingness to progress it. A worry in itself.
Itsawrap I should imagine he means WN but I'm not sure it'll be drilled this year anymore. Too much time has been wasted & far too much money squandered. OK mainly due to Rathlin screwing the drills up.
Even if WN is a success how saleable will the asset be in the current green climate ? Our 2 scumbags have got away with complete & utter value destruction. As Older says typical AIM. They've had their shareholders right over, they should be in court rather than paying themselves a fortune.
Yes it was a good post by JD & it's cleared up one of my reservations about the project so thank-you for that. Does anyone know how long it takes to construct a LNG plant ? I haven't got a clue.
Simon, do I think the sp should be on the floor ? Probably not but we have to accept that there have been some dreadful management decisions over the years. And the 2 fools credibility is in tatters.
It's nice to see something happening. We will however not be receiving any funds for years. I note Williams has messed up on the gas price per mwh at last. I suppose he didn't have any choice.
JD, you mention U.S. money ? Not a snowballs chance in hell imo.
well our 2 ****s have been in a position to sort it for a copla months.
i ask you, who is going to fund rathlin when thayre a 1 trick pony & in this political landscape ?
even if wn is drilled the jv's will have no choice but to sell as funds will be scarce meaning we become pretty much a forced seller. forget avout yhat c*** williams npv10 values, that's ******. i'd be happier to see him up against a wall facing a firing squad.
The buyback shares are held in treasury which is not returning value to shareholders.
Whilst I think we've thrown so much money at WN they'll give Rathlin the funds its not guaranteed.
How I hate these 2 shysters. The lack of information is just disgusting.
Itsawrap that's the problem isn't it. We have the cash, chuckle brothers want to keep hold of the cash to keep the co. going so they can keep paying themselves their exorbitant salaries. Remember them talking about returning £4m to shareholders ? Pmsl, not a chance imo.
