"also includes leaders of the Night Wolves motorcycle club"
Indeed Tiger "In administration, the existing Board of Directors cease to have decision-making powers with immediate effect. These powers transfer to the Administrators who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Company."
BTW something I had back from IR last week that probably worth mentioning in response to question of RCF/term loan/ licensces etc
"We continue to sell the gold to various non-sanctioned institutions within Russia"
Will we know anything of anything ? Will it just be RNS, or an announcement of sales / agreements to whom and how much etc ? And is any tangible timeline, or "when its done" ??
Apologies, but not been administered before
for some unknown reason POGR traded for the day of the suspension with humungous volumes (from 3.77 down to 0.87) and then was suspended
996,441 here - tkvm for all concerned / involved
anyone have a clue what we are to expect on monday regarding the administration ? Or is that just the beginning and then its as and whenever something may come out of it ??
i dont dislike Penny at all (as yet barely know a thing)
But this has to be seen...
https://metro.co.uk/2022/07/14/penny-mordaunt-bellyflopping-on-splash-as-politician-vies-for-pm-16997818/
terrifying that Penny is evens fav for it and she is best known for being on Splash.... still Truss is awful, and Rishi is a billionaire Boris-ite without the clown gene it seems
As well as Ttaylor comments which I agree with, lets not forget that back to basics there are at least TWO distinct parties after the assets (that we are aware of) - its all very well saying Strukov can put in a 20c on the $ bid to administration and he steals it etc etc but UMMC are also after the assets - either one of them know that intrinsic value and going forward is exponentially where it is valued right now, especially if they have much more sophisticated ways of circumnavigating current sanctions short term etc etc
literally pasted from Opus (our new administrators)
https://opusllp.com/restructuring-insolvency/administration/
"When is the Administration process used?
Administration works most effectively when:
There are severe cash flow pressures, but there is a viable ongoing business to be saved
There is an urgent need to sell the business of a technically insolvent company to preserve as much of its value as possible
When creditors cannot be persuaded to a consensual compromise deal, such as delayed payments or debt write offs, either altogether or within a manageable timescale
Where a company is insolvent and the directors are concerned about the risks of wrongful trading
In these circumstances it may be best to take urgent action to put the company into Administration; a legal process that requires the appointment of a licensed insolvency practitioner as Administrator."
(aimtitan it was tks)
so having had good morning in the garden, and rethinking - could it be as per others (apologies cant remember who) the BoD has done this to force a fair (er) independent valuation (plus pseudo audit) than the UMMC + crooks attempted effort to nab it for diddly squat (possibly why auditors quit as they wouldnt sign off on what they wanted) ?
Makes sense as this legitimises it and gets UK process involved as per the UMMC shuffle technique that it seems WAS about to happen... quite a bit more positive although this share has had me baffled from the outset, have NEVER known where we're going with it
280mm shares traded Moex today so far ... irony is its now 75% down DoD at RUB 0.91 which is STILL 0.0128p so teeny bit above yesterdays close on LSE !!! effin ridic
let alone as to how or why there was no notification of the actual or potential bidder
OH there are MANY
Why did BOD "temporarily" suspend at their request the bonds + UK shares and only while " A request is also PROPOSED to be made for the cessation of trading of ordinary shares on the Moscow Exchange in DUE COURSE" ?
Makes no sense - I used to work for v large asset manager, as per ALL regulations - treating stakeholders/clients fairly is one of the paramount pillars of ALL markets now, why is one done and the other proposed at some point ??
but more baffling - 155mm Moex shares traded today, almost £5.5mm - sellers could obv be any party involved - but who is buying them at 3.5p and then why is that price so high ? That means someone / people have bought over 10% of the shares ?????? W T A F
not a chance on the planet that £4mm+ is PIs having seen administration proceedings starting...
Someone knows something
