I thought his reasoning for not scheduling an immediate test on mou5 seemed completely sound. They won't know how many layers to perforated and test until a couple of months after the drill. Why would they waste money by guessing and buying equipment without knowing what they need?

That's a shame it was well worth listening to.

I'll admit I was one of, if not the one to ask him to give an overview of his day to day work and he absolutely hit the mark there. I felt it was important that he share that with us to address some of the constant challenges management face on this board. They aren't just dragging their feet and siphoning a paycheck, there is an awful lot going on.

It was information quite literally open to the entire public. That cannot be considered unfair insider information, he just bothered to go and see what was available to anyone.

Did you manage to get up close to the Christmas tree? I'm wondering if that had any analogue pressure gauges to be monitoring the in-hole conditions, of if that would be done electronically in the units there.

Given what he said in the interview, I wouldn't expect anything to be going on at the moment in light of the interview. As PG said, why have people on hand doing nothing. I would have expected there was some longer term monitoring of the pressure given his comments, but don't know if anyone is needed on site for that.

Jimmy, that is nonsensical. You imply that the company might choose whether or not to announce the flow rate and thereby prevent the options vesting when they should.

The company cannot choose not to announce flow rates if they exist, and you must know that. The company can, and must, carefully measure those flows and confirm it's announcements with the local regulator and a key partner. It is perfectly proper to have options vesting at the conclusion of that regulatory process. To do otherwise would send improper signals to the market without that confirmatory process being followed

I don't know what you think you are up to now. Your posts are not simple objectivity and your repeated statements that your speculation must be correct are frankly suspicious. What are you hoping to gain by making these claims multiple times a day?

I have said it before and say it again - give it a rest. The whole market and all of us are clearly waiting for the announcement. That is all we can rationally do. Your speculation gains nothing.

Remember how coordinated they were seen to be at the last in person presentation? Arriving together, splitting up in the crowd and then posting trolling conversation with each other.

History has shown us that Paul's style is not to mention things when there is no update or change (and then perhaps get frustrated that the market has taken it that unmentioned projects are off). I suspect it's more like that than PRD having ruled out testing them too.

There is no obviously here. Unless ONHYM have signed off on tested, confirmed data, they could not announce high flow rates. On the other hand, how to tell us it's going well without needing ONHYM approval? Extend the testing and tell us that.

Or, as a counter view but in line with drill results. It's flowing at high rates (from high pressure) and needs specialist help to handle.

With the immediate comparison of CHAR available you can see what happens to testing when the output is poor. It's quick to report, evaluate and shut down as a lost cause. What you don't see is an extension of testing at the same site.

If the choice layers have not flowed well, it would be unusual to say let's extend to try the bits we didn't think were as likely to flow well before. You know. Just in case. That isn't the fiscally responsible approach that we do see this company operating. That extension makes me a lot more comfortable today.

I just looked back at the Pilbeam RNS to refresh my memory. 28 July 2021, that was a very terse stepping down with immediate effect to pursue other interests.

Lonny's announcement may have had to be today as the start of notice period, but as flagged it's not immediate effect this time. That seems less acrimonious
