cekim, RNS do make difference!!! the main reason is the same panic mentality at which the share holders selling now, will hold and may start buying/averaging/topping up the shares.
The will cause heavy loss for the fund firms that are shorting and push them to close the short positions. That will eventually cause even more upward movement. A healthy RNS is always a knee jerker for fund firms that shorts heavily.
Bring on the RNS CINE and show the moon ;)

It is a big BUY time for CINE, here are some of the points:
1. Lockdown easing/Freedom day 19-Jul is on track
2. Cinemas can get back to 100% capacity and all restrictions will be lifted from 19-Jul
3. Pandemic is not finished, but we are definitely out of the peak. We are 99% in a better shape compared to the peak levels.
4. People are craving and desperate for entertainment/fun. Especially the families with kids whose main entertainment is outing and cinemas
5. Cineworld venues are also used for party / birthday hires. Which means this revenue is going to start flowing into the balance sheet.
6. Cineworld managed the employee salaries well with the use of Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, so balance sheet is not going to be impacted hugely if Cine could negotiate on the rentals.

So overall CINE is a BIG BAG WINNER..... BUY BUY BUY...

In my opinion, it's high time to spread the message the message to family and friends.... If you are in it and want to win it, squeeze the shorts!!! Especially for companies that are shorted heavily for no reason...

In all means CINE will be back to 140p and above before mid August. In my opinion, massive short squeeze on the way for few of the travel, entertainment, service sector shares that are declining allll the way down by at least 40% from March 2021.
This is way below the peak times of pandemic....

astro999, 40% down is fine... Unless bold investors flood in here and keep pushing the price up, in my opinion we could see CINE below 25p within few weeks..
Survival or wipe out time for CINE share holders at the moment.... Panicking and selling at this point is no use. If bold investors flood in and push the price above 90p, then we could see the SP pumping above 130p .. Lets see what is going to happen here.

In my opinion, the survival of CINE shares is in the hands of the investors who crush and break the bones of Shorting demons (Fund firms). There is no harm is wrecking them like what happened to AMC.
Either that should happen or in my opinion I see CINE getting more and more shorted (more and more panic created) and finally the shares become crap.....

If so, we were 120p few weeks back when Cinemas were not open. Today cinemas are open and we are at 75p... absolute wreckage of more than 36% just because of heaving shorting of CINE. Note, CINE is one among the top 10 shorted share in the London Stock Exchange.... Heavy short squeeze needed unless private/individual retail investor will be the ones who lose their investment.

CINE is the top shorted stock in the city. It needs heavy squeeze before greediness wipes away individual retail investors / traders.
More than 7 percent of Cineworld’s stock is heavily shorted by six of fund firms. Note this is the declared fund positions and doesn't include small/individual positions.

Everyone know the government is not going to add many countries into the Green list. Even if they add some countries into green list, that could be a remote island where there is no flight service.
With the new variant "Delta Plus" and with the Merkel effect and many more thing.. My opinion is we are going to see 180p range sometime today or this week.

We are at least 2 to 3 months away for any positive news coming. Governments are trying to play safe, so we can't blame them.
