Really? It's down 200 points, more than double the dividend

As someone who works on Persimmon sites I can say with confidence that they are not doing as well as most think. I know of 1 site which has just been closed and another where the land is being sold and the site stopped mid phase.

End of last year the individual regions should have paid all the subcontractors at the end of December but paid early January. That way last year's accounts had the year end bank balance artificially high.

They have also deferred putting in roads until this January so they didn't have to pay out of last years funds leaving some sites very slow currently.

I have had a big holding of shares here previously and had considered buying again soon with the price low. However eventually they won't be able to keep hiding the true figures, made worse with the current Iran war and it's effect on interest rates and inflation.

Before anyone shouts me down it's just what's happening on the ground

I'm not a vistry share holder although I do have other HB shares, but how can this drop 20% on decent results!! TW announce tomorrow, I'm guessing a betting man would sell all their shares today

I'm still amazed that the share price has remained pretty stable last few days when others have taken a big hit. I guess that is another sign that it's well below fair price currently

Big house price drop in July, how has this not affected share price today? A month ago nationwide announced June price drop and sp went through the floor!

Most are going to be minimum wage earners, so let's say 25k time they get their tax free allowance probably only paying 2-3k in tax.

As you say time you factor in NHS and other public services then they are a drain on public finances not a net contributor.

However I'm convinced though that whatever government is in power they don't mind as technically the economy grows even if each Individual is less well off.

Other than perhaps COVID when everything shut overnight has there ever been a day where the price has dropped by 110 pence?

I know the Conservatives made some mistakes but at least with the economy they are far more competent than Labour. Rachel Reeves has to be the most useless chancellor ever

I've only been following shares in Psn for a few months and never seen it before but the last 3 days when I've checked on Google after closing the price has shot up about 40p a share. What is the reason for this as London stock exchange has the price at 1318 whereas Google it's 1366?

I've noticed a few people comment here on PH shares regularly. I'm just curious, do you trade often with PH shares or hold for long periods of time?

I bought with the intention of holding but have changed to trading regularly now.
