The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I've been trying to find an old post on here which explained why AZN terminated the SNG001 deal they struck up in 2014 with Synairgen.
Is there a way to search for key words in a post title? If there is, I can't see it! Or maybe it's a 'Premium Chat" feature?
Google searches show that a 2014 asthma treatment trial of SNG001 was stopped due to an insufficient number of severe cases. I am highly optimistic that SNG001 will produce the P3 data needed to bring this great treatment to patients globally but I am still curious as to what soured AZN's interest back then?
I'm still confused by the Phase III trial scope - what is the concensus? Maybe more will be revealed in this afternoon's NIHR Zoom meeting. Apologies if already discussed and resolved, and I missed it. (So many posts on here)
1. NIHR supported the Phase II trial and is supporting Phase III trial: "The phase 3 trial is expected to involve 900 participants and will take place across up to 20 NHS sites." from their own web site today)
2. Paraxel is working with Synairgen to run Phase III trials globally "... the trial is expected to enroll 900 patients across approximately 20 countries ..." from their own web site, Oct 20.
So ... to me this definitely means there are TWO separate Phase III arms which has to be a good thing. Hopefully the UK trials will be soon underway and our hospitals will realises just what a tool they have available to prevent many patients progressing to ventilators.
Your thoughts?
Org30 - not quite: The court ruled that the crash was caused by a piece of metal left on the runway after falling from a Continental jet and which had been missed during a visual runway inspection. Investigators said this caused a tyre-burst in the Concorde, which in turn ruptured a fuel tank.
As a result airports were required to install radar systems that detect such Foreign Object Debris (FOD)
Just a reminder, I couldn't find the original BB post. Sounds interesting.
