I considered anything in the 1090's to be a good entry price. Looking at the graph for the last two years and even at the March 2009 lows the SP has found support at this price. In addition I note the comments from the board on dividends and think this is a sound investment.

9 April post the offer was 7.00p. Yesterday the bid was 8.25p. I make that circa 16% less duty and costs. Would I have liked a circa 16% increase in capital value? Absolutely. Will I be manipulated by an unreasonable spread? Never!

Probably better than I expected at 8.25p. Some you win some you lose.........................

Think you have my update from todays events. Sold HSBA and Barc prior to the fall, so content with those decisions. Currently holding GSK, TW, GKP, DES, AEX and CTT(write that one off) and sitting on cash waiting for the dust to settle...............

I agree with your sentiments but I will not be overly exploited on spreads. If the SP did get to 9.00p what would be the bid price, 8.00p?

I remain intereted and will watch the SP closely, however, the funds I had earmarked for PUR were invested in AEX so if the the Sp softens I will have to re-evaluate.............
