The subsequent sidetrack drill will not be subjust to Upper Eocene and therefore the involvement of water ingress should be small. They are fully aware of why the water cut is so high at the moment and are taking steps to reduce it. The pressure is excellent and the oil there , the next sidetrack should be excellent.

I can say is see through the over reactionary movements and help yourself to a bargain that may not be repeated in this sector again this year.

Sadly this BB has attracted some extremely bitter individuals, some allegedly held shares others claim to still do but continually bash the company. Now I'm not saying the CEO was lying when he stated that 1100bbls was flowing from the first appraisal well but as they have encountered geological problems (not unusual in Georgia) it wasn't quite as straightforward as that. Naivety on his part possibly but as mentioned in the RNS recently and previously, they have taken the prudent measures required to sustain consistent flows to stabilise output.
The current RNS is well written imo. and explains in detail how things are progressing.
The share price is now way oversold relative to the company's assets and the forward programme of drilling.

A 12 million Gbp fund raise wasn't pie in the sky as you put it.

They've clearly has some issues with the drill but rather than dramatically scream it out loud which doomers just latch onto and then trade it, they kept it quiet until it stabilised as explained in the RNS.
Valuable information and experience was gained in this appraisal well and the company is in a far better situation going forward than it seems some realise.

I implore any would be investor to thoroughly read the RNS as it covers everything very thoroughly.

People suggesting MATD with a 33 million mcap no commercial oil and BLOE at about 18 million, producing and with a 12 million fund raise and 4 drill programme .
