An energy analyst just appeared on BNN and made Touchstone one of his top picks...he said he has a target price of $6 CAD in 4 to 5 years.
The SP took off like a rocket up to 1.68 soon after.

The posts on the short interest prompted me to checkout the short count/history on a Canadian site…ceo.ca txp…according to this site the short count has increased from approx. 547,000 shares at end of Jan to over 1.26 million at the end of March. It essentially doubled during the month of Feb, with an increase of 533,000 to a total of 1.08 million. The bulk of the increase came during the last two weeks of Feb, and continued into the first two weeks of March. The last two weeks of March shows an increase of just under 20,000. The total 1.26 million share count represents less than 1% of the float so perhaps this is just the Canadian market? It was the rapid increase in the short interest over the last two months that got my attention…with much of it coming in the weeks leading up to the March 7th reserves report.

I too noticed the RNS was March 7 last year.

Would not be surprised if it comes out earlier than the 14th...at least then they can say they got something done ahead of schedule.

The MC of TSP is approaching a mere $300 million CAD...woefully undervalued by any measure.

I have come to think of Coho as a desert mirage...an oasis in the distance that remains elusive no matter how close you think you are getting to it. I believe we are still awaiting final approval, but beginning to wonder if there is more to the story than just long approval processing times in TNT. I know Coho will happen eventually, but...Hmmm

Also have to agree. The market has become skeptical of TXP at this point.

Oh Canada...a pleasant and unexpected run up today.

After reading the RNS and webinar notes I think a small raise is in the cards more than ever. But I look at it as an investment, and think PB will keep the raise to a minimum and explain that it was necessary given that the project has become more "complicated"as he stated in the proactive interview. He spoke with a lot of conviction re finding liquid rich natural gas in the next two tests. After the Chinook ordeal I can't imagine he would put himself in the predicament again unless he his pretty certain that good, to very good results lie ahead. If that turns out to be the case, and there is a raise, perhaps it would happen after the next round of results...saving the third round post raise which if positive would continue the upward momentum and attract more investors.

The extremely bullish tone of the RNS along with Paul's comments in the interview, a trip to London even before all results are out...leads me to believe they already know what they have here, and the upcoming 2nd and 3rd round of results will be very positive...IMHO

After listening to Paul's interview and his comments re the complexity now with both oil and probable gas discoveries at Royston. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a small cash raise coming. I know what he has said about this in the past,and the company has the credit line it can still draw on...but Royston is a game changer that increases the scope of the operation so may want to have some additional capital on hand as Cash flow from Cascadura is a ways off and could drag on waiting for approvals re the EIA process. Just my opinion.

I may have missed this...but when is the next licensing round supposed to be finished??

A steady march higher today...volume is good but less than one might think given the size of the up move.

It is possible that close to two years could pass between the time the NGC deal was announced...Dec of 2020 and when any meaningful gas comes out of Cascadura...say late 2022. Given a general bullish trend for natural gas prices, we could see a wild disconnect between our 2.50 price and the market price when first production from Cascadura arrives. If this is the case...how soon can Touchstone renegotiate the price under the terms of the agreement with NCG?...Any thoughts on how this would play out?

Although a year and a half late, I think we could see a bump up in the SP as the pipeline is the initial step towards actual production from the block...which is what its all about.

I found this past week a little surprising given some positive news.events for TXP...yet the SP has essentially been frozen at 1.39-1.40 CAD. The proactive interview which was generally positive, along with the Royston drill well under way, and oil prices getting a nice bounce this week...all failed to provide any momentum to the share price. I know its the middle of the summer, low volumes, etc...but still thought we would see a bit of a rise. The stock remains a steal at these levels which won't last forever. Given the timing of upcoming events/news it could be a compelling entry point for new investors.

Totally agree ...have followed several ceo.ca boards and mostly penny flippers with the attention span that goes along with that...slim pickings over there for useful posts. IMO
No comparison to this board which continues to offer useful insight and opinions with the odd exception.

This exposure with the new energy minister, along with the Chinook flare is the type of news that can change the momentum of the stock in a hurry...and we may be seeing the early signs of that. Now a positive NR to follow and TXP is on its way once again. IMO

I may have missed this if previously mentioned...but at what depth is the 700 feet of bypass pay PB mentions in the recent Proactive video?...thanks in advance.

Greetings…I am a new poster but long time follower of this BB on a daily basis over the last year or so. I bought my first TXP shares back in September of 2019 after the preliminary results from COHO were released. Like many of the regulars here, I was fortunate to get in at an early stage. I have followed the TXP story closely since than and it is the largest holding in my portfolio. Many thanks to all the regular posters on this BB who have contributed very useful information from which I have learned a great deal. Many of you really know your stuff, and for me it was the quality of the discussion that kept me coming back. Now after a year of sitting on the sidelines as an observer have decided to join the group. As a new poster I wanted to provide a little background so as not to come off as the new, mysterious poster. I look forward to joining the discussion to share some thoughts, and ask a few questions along the way…Cheers!
