The answer is that you lost 90, which is 90% loss. NOT 900%. I would like to congratulate you for getting the 10 to 20 = 100% correct, but nobody asked that. Either way, you shouldn't give math advice to anyone.
Also, it's a common saying that you don't lose unless you sell, but that is not true either. If a company goes bust, you will lose without selling. Great idea though again, is to stop babbling.
