Good strategic decision in today's RNS27 Mar 2025 07:40
POW has it's finger in a large number of pies. Being a minority shareholder in JVs, is not always a good thing.
As POW is now clearly focused on uranium and Saudi Arabia, it's two major projects of the future, POWs relatively small management team also needs to focus their time on where it counts. Exiting these much smaller JVs and minority investments in other mining companies IE RRR and FCM, is in my view the correct way to go. Getting small exit payments, is even better, incentivising the companies being exited, to pay sooner rather than later, with stepped up payments for the longer they decide.
Just like with our own investment portfolios, better to spend more time researching and monitoring the ones we feel will be the "larger winners", rather than spending our time where we only have a token investment, where even if it trebles, the £ return, would be insignificant, in context of total portfolio value.
Sean has his critics but he is getting on with it in the background and although slow recovery in the SP, it is finally making small progress in an upward trajectory.
I believe could be 20p+ by end of June.🤞
