One thing that slightly intrigued me from Friday was the seeming ease that (by there own admission) a number of big players managed to exit or chop right down over the afternoon.
Normally when a share gets into issues no one wants to buy and the MMs make it very hard to sell, especially in decent chunks and certainly by enough to clear a large position.
Here though annecdotally there seemed to be few issues for the big sellers.... Even as the price fell, shares were being recycled to some one though. So MMs happy that there was a market and this buyer/ buyers allowed the big exits fairly smoothly appears?
Just musing last night on who was snapping them all up, and if it has any significance on what may happen going forwards.....
I Surrender! ;-)
Having known you off various mutually shared investment BB's for 4 years. I have always respected your analysis, as you well know.
You clearly have a personality type though that needs to externalise all the good reasons to invest in a share that you have bought (self justification confirmation?).
That info is of high grade and you share it freely. Equally then, When you perform one of your multiple exits. You seem to also "need" to self justify it to all and sundry. I get it....
OK. I understand. But you also like to keep repeating it round, and round not in a simple concise statement...that's where your semi autism (strikes me?) Kicks in.
An inability to take account of others feelings of pain at the moment means you can't see that having stated your need and reasons to go. To continue hammering out free form essays is classless frankly!
Anyhow as said I surrender. Do as you feel. But maybe think a little if you can on the impact?
Cheers.
IMO....
The crazy...... It will be this, or that SP next year or on this date.....
Is of course plain silly. Almost as much as asking Moon the day of the week....
This is (hate to agree with MB). A crossroads, granted.
CFO to sort the finance needed, but not over a weekend.....Doah!
But that's thier job now mid term, and by exposing this, it's a good start I feel.
Key is, does TB now have stomach for the fight.
Or has he caved in..... And we will be bought or taken over by a debt Co.
Nowt else matters.
@Free.
I think you generally post a lot of good sense on these metal shares.
So on your points:
a) agree, TB a good miner, but needed to act faster elsewhere...
b) A few of us at the time said similar, and far more important, the market here, as in others ( look at GGP, endless great drill results, but 8p off from 38...) Will always have it's say.... It's the cost you can dig it & sell it that counts .... Always.
c) 100%, so many types that will pump it daily. Be Uber convincing.... But .......
d). Comms matter, but hard finance facts win in the end. Agree.
So where now?
I don't think TB has "led" to mislead personally....
But he needs to show now, not just his high mining skills. But also an appreciation, that his lack of diligance in other key areas has caused this situation, and its hitting us all hard....
I am interested how they react now. BB's are educational, from level headed posters.
But the company needs to step up the in the short term, it's true.
@metal.
Fair enough. Wasn't really aimed at you frankly. If you are catching up see the posts later yesterday after the RNS. Personally I think they lack class.
Interesting views by @unprecidented and before that @hawaii.
As to the people that sold up, again. If they had any decorum they would remain silent now. If you continue to post the negatives it simply appears you are now talking it down further purposefully to facilite an agenda.
But then AIM shares are full of agenda types as we all know.
Let's see what the new CFO comes up with.
Thinking about it over night.
It would make sense (to me at least)?
That we have TB. A strong turnaround technical miner, who by all evidence is now delivering in that area - tonnage, grades, new finds etc. All good.
But he's clearly not so great to put it mildly on forming Comms & specifically running the money side! Tbf he's also in a much tougher Marco environment now that isn't helping.
Unfortunately for us his past CFO seemed to be worse than him at the aspect TB needed the help in! :-s.... So recognising that he brings in a new person. Who does the drains up needed, and we arrive at the current situation, with things exposed...
Seems plausible to me at least?
So question is, can the company survive long enough to exploit the good work they have done under ground to turnaround the future highly desirable product. Or are they too far shot, going to be out of business or taken over for a pitance of the mine value.
That's the 64000 dollar question now.....
The answer to that is the one I need to think on further. To me holding or even adding here or a bit lower is certainly justified by the mine and the progress there.
But will Rambler as we know it be around to ever reap that reward.....
Investing ain't easy.
My paper loss dwarfs your 50k frankly MB.
X it by 5 and counting.....
But I still try and stay sanguine tbh.
You have been a total cheer leader here. When many of us advised caution. You have to admit .....
I hope it turns round for all our sakes. But tbh you of all people need to take a look at whom (not me), you may to have it influenced to date. On paper to their detriment.
As to DJ. He is always Marmite I know. Generally, as he knows I have defended him.
But, & again. Today he would have been better to sell and be done IMO. His track record of dodging in and out of shares is well known. Even to his supporters..... Like me, I almost lost track of his about faces in GGP, HZM, GRL and here. One minute the greatest, next, pants ...... Buy, sell n repeat. I like him. But the about faces even call his fans....
By all means trade as you see fit, but once you are out, multi posts like today, rubbing it in really undermine even youe supporters my friend.....
Decorum...... You no Understand?
If you have sold, and made a point of saying you had ....
Then move on. Why continue to post that "I knew all along", or that "here's where they went wrong".....
It's not helpful. Show some decorum. If you understand the meaning ......
@ihowells.
Indeed.
In out, in out, shake it all about.....
Analysis strong point..... Stating a balanced case and especially Humility..... Less so.
Has to be said.
Today has been a poor day for many...
Some of the vocal commentators, pro and anti. Some of whom who have flip flopped between. RMM is a great share..... To it's a dog ....
Would do well to show some. If your out your out. If your in. Keep your council.
IMHO.
Clearly not great news (understatement). Just when technically grades and new areas of the resourse were going very well.
It's everyone's call to hold or bale. Personally looking to see the dust settle. As this has always been a longer term investment for me., So I try and not knee jerk if I can.
If it looks over sold, but viable. I may sell elsewhere to take advantage. But that's I know a risky game with the lack of financial clarity. So will see.
Only short term positive is hopefully at least one of my two green boxes won't stick around, the trader will go am sure, if not already....The Uber positive man I see says he's out as well. So hopefully no side line carping please.... If your out your out....!
That simply leaves Moon. My second green one. I suspect he will always be about to play it according to his book. Suspect he will soon be on the ramp side if he has funds to go in hereabouts.
Fortunately I cant read it....
Gonna make this a target though now susoect....With a strong resource, but financially weak for now.
Said my piece Amtech. I don't get threads removed if I can't handle the content though....
There is only one of us that is repeating themselves day after day (after day) here my friend ...
We all get your point. But if that's all you have to say, it's been said.
Good luck with your investment. But time to Green Coffin you.
Filtered.
.... That the whole tread, very politely asking the persistent daily nehative poster to please explain his motivation to continue to comment on the incompetent BOD.... Rather than simply sell up and move on, and save many LTHswho are happy to commit to the resourse, the hourly earache....
Has been expunged from the chat.... Some questions to hard to answer hey....
Quite telling that....These BB's, in my experience are trod by some very affable and knowledgeable & generous types. But also many a shady character.
Here is no exception I am afraid. Pinch of salt with the trolls needed.
As there was a placing. Thought I would read this BB to see reaction. Most of it passes me by, which is why I hardly read here now.
But I did like the post about 23:12 by Zoros.
That seemed quite reasonable and sensible a summary of the under pressure (SP wise) CEOs strategy.
If it pans out then good luck to him, and will help dispirited investors here no doubt.
Nice summation. Suggest people read it this morning before the bun fighting opens up again?
Cheers.
We take responsibilities for our investment choices no?
Try not to blame others, when we are the ones that pushed the button....
I researched this at the end of 2021, after tips on another mutually held share. I liked the resourse size, and the forward potential. I liked the fact that the overseers had plenty of skin in the game, and so on.
I disliked the location however ... Africa, in my time has been well known for its duplicity, drag, and corruption. No mincing of words. So a balancing act to me ...
However, in a spirit of diversification, and due risk. I invested a medium amount. No more.
I bought in the top 4s, low 4s, a few in the mid 3s, and lately a little in the low 2s.
That left me with 0.733% of the company, to have and to hold... Not a lot compared to many I know. But a diversified holding to see how things move for me V bigger fish elsewhere.
So at an AVG of 4.14p. all told... for now it's been a rubbish trade set ..yep.... But. As an investor. I will let it ride and see how the firm moves forward.
I thought anything under 5p seemed a reasonable entry, then 4s, then 3s. Etc..
So 4.14, is what I have, &: would be a fair AVG when I started, as hindsight is easy ...... and in the meantime I haven't seen the resourse potential diminished, only the price tbf?
So, one awaits progress from the Taz government, and our BoD followup from there. I have patience.
It's hard times all round. But still holding firm....
Cheers.
Emmm....
I think Wasa speculated that this KRSS 'entity'.... Was a semi sophisticated bot ... I agree.
By replying to it you are fueling it.... no?
Dear oh dear.....
Seems like there is a few punters on here that need a comfort blanket....
I recall DJ saying that, like a few of us. He was interested in end of Q3 outurn. As that, plus the costings, and assuming no further global meltdown.... Big if we know...
Will decide the future here...So no posting till then......
Really it's like a bunch of fish wife's here sometimes. Grow some back bone guys, and if you think it's moving in the right direction you really don't need a daily confirmation from so called gurus....!
This is a great RNS on the grades and proximity of the Cu it's true.
I think the market reaction being a bit muted, is less to do with the strong content. More the ongoing macro env worries. Plus specific to RMM; it's awaiting the costings info (to prove we can actually dig out all this good stuff at decent profit). Plus of course confirmation formally that the volumes recovered in Q3 (July to September) are on the track we all hope and as has been alluded to by the BOD.
If both the above prove to be as positive as this RNS, and world events don't take over the markets completely by then of course....
Then anyone (LTH or new investor). Will by second week of October be very happy with this investment and the turnaround progress that began for a lot of us a couple of years back.
My own personal review as to stick or twist my reasobly long term built chunk of shares I am still hoping by then will be a simple "stick" .... ;-)
Cheers.
The current SP is a right stinker!
It's been that way... Right since the deal almost a year ago, due to the terms, dilution, and of course one has to be cognisant of the macro environment. Yeah we get it....
A number of us that built a progressive position over several years, and held firm in the belief that finance was worth waiting for when it peaked over 10p old, are now "peaked" tbf...!!
In my case today we just dropped below my total average for 4 calander years investing..... Not great....
As newbies ( good luck to them, and its around here a total buy if you have funds IMO), can get in. But at our long term avg, I hope you understand we feel pretty let down..... Listening JM ... Np thought not... bigger fish one accepts...
However. If you see this near the floor, granted, and the fact it hit 10.1p (old money, now what £2.02....) on just the mere resourse potential, and a distant thought of future finance... way back when...
I guess we have to suck it up then, and hope the build goes reasonably, the cash negotiation done proves a wise buffer to the current economy, and by (say) 2025 things are rocking along, and we more than make back our stake ++.....
By this deal, JM moved into a new league though be aware, and those that supported him previous will see in the end maybe a good few good crumbs off the top table, of prepared to wait. As an investor then, I hang around with about 75% of my longer built position.... As It still like the resourse. But please, just at this moment...
Dont ask me to rejoice over how it's so far panned out Jerry mate....
