But reinvesting and acquiring more shares that are dropping in price is a lose lose just like Vodafone when they sold Verizon the share price has never risen only dropped, because they offloaded a valuable asset and dished it out to shareholders whilst doing a share consolidation at the same time. The only plus was that you could have Verizon shares instead of cash.
Return of capital by scheme of arrangement when they sold their stake in Verizon and share consolidation. It was like giving you money with hand and taking it away with the other.
Several years ago I got a special dividend and share consolidation from Vodafone and basically if I remember correctly it nullified the special dividend and didn't prevent the SP dropping long term only short term.

Exactly, pre Covid Ryanair hovered between 12 and 14p and their what 15 to 16p now, that's mental when it's burning through that kind of money imo and the state of the airline industry.
If people stopped eating the supermarkets would go out of business but nobody is going to stop watching telly, using their phones or the internet, think about that for 5 minutes.
