I noticed someone in the telegram group emailed GEX for a simple update regarding the applications, I’ve also emailed twice but not had any response.

Would be good if they could just provide a simple update on the permits.

AH has indeed said it would take 10-15days, but this is what is stated on the DEMIRS website as their target time for processing applications - again if you look at all the recently approved applications they have taken in the region of 3 months some even 4….im also not aware of any government department that meets its targets 😂

Honestly would be lovely if it hit that price, any price movement downwards without an RNS is pure buying territory…. I got a nice cash balance ready to buy up at that price - so keep deramping :)

But considering we are waiting on news, the current SP and small fluctuations are normal, this share is for LTH, not day traders and any drop in SP will attract buyers as we’ve seen time and time again.

Charts are a load of tosh, they don’t predict anything, only show historical data.

As I’ve said for weeks, I expect approval for the extension to take around 3 months from submission based on recent applications of the same nature, and am fully prepared to hold for that and beyond.

I do agree with Matty that I think we are looking at a 2-3 month approval process, even though it was announced in an RNS of the 10-15 days timelines, I’m not seeing any evidence of those timelines being met with other applications - I do appreciate ours is just an extension to an existing permit that was approved, so may be expedited.

Regardless, as I said before, I’m here for the long term whether it’s 10-15 days or 3 months approval! This is without a doubt one of the strongest plays on the market at the moment! IMO

Looking at the approved applications on the DEMIRS site, the average approval timeline seems to be around 3 months. That said, because Georgina Energy already had prior approval for the site, there’s a good chance this updated permit could be processed more quickly. This latest application is really just to reflect the expanded scope of the drilling area after seismic reprocessing revealed significantly greater potential — so it’s all moving in the right direction! Regardless of how long the permit takes, I’m not selling a single share. Don’t think I’ve ever had more conviction in holding — diamond hands all the way!

Just to clarify for anyone reading, ignore buried_nonsense, the company has publicly stated it is fully funded:

- 6 Nov 2024: "The Company is fully funded for its work programme at Hussar (including the re-entry well), to meet its obligations under the Mt Winter farm-in, and for general working capital."

- 22 Jan 2025: "Georgina remains fully funded and is working towards drilling approval from DEMIRS and drilling the Hussar prospect..."

So unless buried_treasure is reading a different set of RNSs (maybe the director’s cut?), the actual filings don’t support the insolvency claim.

Not saying it’s risk-free, it’s an early-stage explorer , but let’s stick to what’s actually in the RNSs ;-)

Shar1 - there was a point in time when your big players didn’t have a schedule to drill, licences to drill when and where they wanted and needed to seek investment to do so - they all had to start somewhere…What matters is the potential here, hence why we are invested - we are all speculating and betting on the huge potential here which is backed by strong data and fundamentals…I don’t get what the problem is? Would you prefer us to go invest in Shell, BP? Would that make you happy?

Looks like you are invested over at MSMN (as am I) plenty of ways to say there is “fantasy” going on over there too, or are you not also taking a punt on MSMN like everyone else is here?

Rob I can assure you “what is fact” is what is in the RNS’s, Yes MSMN has been silent, but never ever have they promised a definitive timeline of events, Dysmons has been calling out there is delays and crew shortages etc etc - again how can there be a delay when a timeline or date has never been stated?….As for crew shortages, yeah sure could be, good assumption….but I can come up with a million other reasons as to why drilling hasn’t started, ChatGPT could do the same, but that would all be conjecture and assumption - the only facts are what we have in the RNS.

These types of operations take time, and there are all sorts of things that can cause delays, but eventually they pan out and we will get drilling, and hopefully great results, might also not get great results but at the end of the day that’s what we are invested for, the gamble - it’s HIGH risk with potential High Rewards - it’s never going to be quick money.

Patiently waiting for dsymons to make some outlandish claims today….
