I hold around 360,000 shares and hope we can at least get 16p back as this will allow me to break even.
Perhaps I am too optimistic but I kept averaging down on based on the NAV.
Whilst not happy with the recent asset disposals being what they were, if we achieve even half of the revised NAV we will do well (21/22p)
In desperation and the fact I cannot really understand the complex make up of Arqiva, I referred to DeepSeek which said the following:
Conclusion:
• If £800 million refers to equity value, it would likely be considered low, given Arqiva's EBITDA and asset base. It would imply a distressed valuation, possibly reflecting concerns about debt, expiring contracts, or limited growth prospects.
• If £800 million refers to enterprise value, it would be extremely low and likely unrealistic, as it would not even cover the company's debt.
In summary, £800 million would likely be seen as a low valuation for Arqiva, unless the company is facing severe financial or operational challenges. A more realistic valuation would likely be in the range of £1.5 billion to £3 billion for equity value, depending on the company's ability to manage its debt and transition to new growth areas.
I have been deluded before on stated NAV values but hopefully D9 can clear £100m after paying down the VLN
