Its amazing you did or else you would know that Mike Ashley is Sports Direct not JD Sports. You keep talking about the Mike Ashley JD Sports link up but he doesn't have anything to do with it.
As for me being a shorter I am not a shorter. I just believe when a company has seen its growth fall from 64% to 24% there is something going wrong. Especially when you take into account that in its main market, Australia, its losing customers to competitors. Which suggests to me there are low barriers to entry and that it can become a crowded market very quickly.
The founders of this company are clearly trying to prop up there shares which is understandable as they need to protect their 30%+ shareholding. But I am not going to be seduced by this propping up exercise. I may buy in at 10-15p as I feel cash will fall and there are two more profits warnings yet to come.
BTW the p/e is not in the teens its in the 30's.
