I believe Webis is a great opportunity given the revenue to current Market Cap, however I noted on the company's FS that there was a significant uncertainty regarding GC as it is funded by a Related Party - could someone provide more info on the background to this and anything else that they think is relevant? What is the relation? What agreements are there?

This is sickening! Imagine what it's going to be like when the next Trading Statement comes out from WH!

All these Institutions playing with peoples pensions, selling something that is well below it's true MV in order to post ST profits and unlock bonuses for themselves.

TBH I wouldn't have an issue with the Done Brothers having all the UK side if they wanted to buy it, I want to be a shareholder in the US side. I will be voting No!

Clear CZRs weren't happy about the 20% US side of things only, a share-for-************** would have been better for WH PI's.

We all know we are being sold short, you just have to look across at a comparable company on the US listing i.e. Draft Kings and see that - one way or another there is an act of fraud here!

Exactly the board have done amazing up to this point, so we know they are competent.

I’m sure there was always wording in the agreement regarding takeovers of WH otherwise Caesars/Eldorado May not have committed.

Caesars played their default position, so we should play ours and stick to the current arrangement. Then we can have full engagement with CZRs and negotiate the best deal to go forward, which I believe would be a merger, with WH shareholders receiving suitable consideration.

I think CZRs were pressed into taking this position by other predators. However, give them a sniff and they’ll want it for this price.

My take is that Caesar’s has taken up its default position and stated it’s intentions and warned off any other interested parties.

They also state they are doing an equity raise for funds for the purchase and the purchase would be likely completed mid-late 2021.

If completed in late 2021, we would have seen some more trading reports from the US side, it would be crazy for anyone to accept a bid like this. I’ve seen reports from journalists saying “take the money an run”, paid article?

I hope and pray that all can sit tight in the ship, we’ve already done the hard part we have leverage over Caesars if no deal goes through as they only have 20% of US side and I’m sure the dividends will pay us back nicely. This is a case of not being intimidated, I hope no one is willing to concede. I’d say once the trading statements come out this could sky rocket on its own or without any takeover approach.

Caesars already highly leveraged, if they bought WH for £3BN what’s to stop them listing on US market and then realising £10, £15 BN. We would all be sitting sick as pigs! Also possible for WH to spin off US business on US listing and realise it’s full potential.

If they accept or recommend an accept to this bid it’s a F****** Disgrace.

People bought in at really low prices, this is what we wanted to happen. Why be counterproductive and start thinking pessimistically?

We have great partnership with Caesars/Eldorado, who from my assertion know they have short changed themselves with a 20% stake in the US business. The best option for them would only be a takeover approach. The current agreements give WH all the bargaining power in negotiations.

Plus we all know the other partnerships and operations going on are reportedly successful!

A takeover bid will come that’ll be greater than the current £3! Who knows there may be other funds swotting about!

Just when I’m thinking of the JV, all avenues I can’t think of lead to no benefit for WH. I don’t think (hope) we will get shafted as nothing can be done without authorisation of controlling company (UK). That’s why I think someone (plenty old rick kids out there) may get frustrated and make a takeover bid.
