On January 5, 2019, at the beginning of the new year, the first phase of 3MW photovoltaic + 3MW/12MWh energy storage project of Hubei Zaoyang Pingfan Ruifeng 10MW photovoltaic +10MW/40MWh all-vanadium flow battery energy storage project was completed and put into operation. The project is currently the largest integrated project of all-vanadium liquid flow battery optical storage in China. It is invested by Hubei Pingfan Ruifeng New Energy Co., Ltd., and Beijing Nenggao Automation Technology Co., Ltd. integrates the system and provides all storage except battery. The energy conversion device, the secondary device, the energy management system and the monitoring system are provided by Beijing Puneng Century Technology Co., Ltd.
The project applies the most advanced all-vanadium flow battery energy storage technology, new generation energy storage converter system architecture, intelligent control technology and big data energy management technology, which can achieve maximum output of PV output, peak filling and valley filling, and power saving. Features such as capacity expansion, intelligent power distribution and integrated energy management.
Under the cooperation of the three parties, the project has achieved several first and model innovations in China.
