didn't like being out of these so bought first tranche today, better than my first 188 buy in, which i escaped from. Be very interested to see where we go from here, although from reading a bit on Ta, i'm guessing the bullish possible sentiment ivaylo mentioned last night has not been confirmed today as of yet....... I've also taken quite literally a punt on 888, if takeover comes off should pay well. Thats enough for me in this sector for now though.

Superwhips the news hound, lol, put some good info on here.Board was dead until about a month ago, lets hope all our expectations come through on this. Went into WIn early this morning at 1.39, looks like the support currently holding up. GL

One last thing, noticed naked trader had bouht these other day, bit of a gamble as protracted takeover talks, never a good sign, but 888 possibly in dodgy cash flow position so may have to give in to 70pish a share offer. Ladbrokes due results Thurs, so might give some further info then.......upside good, but will fall if talks fall through.

Morning Chaps, back from my rape and pillage of barcs, a nice profit first thing monday, then in this morning before realising not for me given mixed feelings on it, got out with 11.15 profit after costs, which paid for me MCD breakfast. Been transfixed to Prty this morning, at present no direction, seems to choose one and tump it in that direction, did try a short from 182 late yesterday with a tight stop, but never quite reached it... Got to decide on these whether to get in at low 170's if we go that way or wait for the much talked of 160's, may well do a two trache entry. Ivaylo - any thoughts on WIN currently, preferably before they tump it one way or the other this time - lol Welcome to the board Graysland, seen you on lloyds and hoping they return to 63 as notarf said last night. i've canceled my 272 Buy for now. Bit too stone like for me - ie dropping like. Also totally out of lloyds - patience snapped - god i'm crap - small profit though on this one. Into Barc for a change....anyone else play barcs? - will we have a post results rally like last year??? Definitely don't want to miss the Prty, but as always entry point is the riddle...

Netley - i went all the way through the 1 second IG chart for the famed 171 and could not find it! Mike - I see where your coming from, but i was in for £80 quid a point, i sold and lost around £100, however if i buy now or say 181, i am about £600 better off straight away. I know there is a risk i won't get back in, but via Ivaylos reading of charts and common sense, ie merger still long way off, i feel it was an educated sell today. I am with you on charts though, whilst i can't read them myself i do respect they have a part to play......thanks to all for your thoughts- what these boards are for - although some can be rather aggressive!

Yes, i was wondering the same, kept hold of my prty shares a week ago when should of sold on sucker rally - ouch - trouble is you never know when it is or isn't. although not much movement today as you'd expect if it was rallying.......

Rose again on this yest to around 40Mill, Win now down to only around 2m from 10m a week ago.

Thanks for your plain english version of Lloyds, does my head in that lloyds board, hard to desypher who knows what their on about. Notarf did say last night that the days of low 60's could soon be gone. I'm nearly break even on Prty, very tempted to catch the usual morning spike open and sell and rebuy in lower territory.Possibly 171 entry point talked of on lloyds board. Number of shares being shorted fallen from over 10M to under 4M in last week, could have something to do with it.

Just seen WIN have risen 12 points today - doh - lol PartyGaming - 195 4.0% Barclays Capital - Also saw broker rec for PRTY, although slightly lower expectations on price than mine, unless they meant by the end of the day - lol

No. of shorted shares now dropped from over 10M to under 4M within days, surely this is significant...although no funds to put in at present :(
