You make the point exactly, some high tech companies aren't valued on where their sales are today or even 12 months from now. ITM is even turning a loss yet they are MCAP is >£3bn?!? Why you might ask? 'cause green H2 is the next big thing.
These high valuations are founded on medium to longer term perceived value the market thinks these businesses command.
As you rightly point out TRX has a different model, build manufacturing capability, sell product, reinvest to build more manufacturing and repeat but the potential growth and >multi $bn market TRX's products are targeted is not too dissimilar to ITM, Tesla and others who fall into this bonkers MCAP valuation bucket.
