oh yes and soo much more news. Nice to see a few tweets but lets be honest that not worth the the keyboard presses involved. What we need is REAL progress news on one of our many project that each have been hailed so highly at the time. No reply from emails to DA - perhaps understandable as hopefully he is busy returning from his hols - but would be nice to get some news. NEVER expected to be back at these lows again, some may see it as an opportunity, well been there before, not so sure now. Think I personally have invested up to my limit. Still believe good news and sp will turn... lets see.

Yep we must seriously be cutting into financial reserves now, without income stream we will only further be diluted... so frustrating

yes but the key difference is we are in Portugal here, with a proven keen admin to move licences forward..

yes Muldoon my thoughts exactly, it was their involvement that gave me great confidence in that project sooo long ago when I started investing here, so very frustrating and the board kept re-itirating that they still expect the licence to be granted, they must have realised ages ago of issues. The dilution is further frustrating, but again there was some big re-investment @ 9p so some big players are still expecting some big returns. Almost daily I expect an RNS with sp changing news, I honestly never thought we would drop every again below 6p, dare I say old Jonners was right with his prediction, but I still think I am invested in a well run company, with a good board that has good assets, hanging on in there will pay off. I hope !!!

Today DA said this when I enquired:

As you know we have applied for mining leases in both Mozambique and Oman. These applications continue to be evaluated by the respective mines departments. Unfortunately we have limited control over their licensing processes and have provided the respective mines departments with everything that we understand is required by them.



In the case of Oman I note that the award of a mining lease to Alara took some four years – we are at the three year mark.



As to Mozambique the cadastre shows the application process is in train http://portals.flexicadastre.com/mozambique/en/ and we have provided then with all the information they have requested.

All a bit strange considering one of the largest investors is Omani - this fact gave me great (obviously unfounded) confidence in the licence coming to fruition. I suppose as it stands it may still happen, not heard anything negative, but its that old 'f' word again - frustrating..

Yep - ditto. But been here so long thro ups and downs think I'm prepared to hang on a bit longer to give benefit of doubt.

Kinda heard these promises before, however, if this did finally happen what a major transformation to the company we would have. Income to work with, and great potentials with Portugal, could 2019 really be the year of transformation??

All three projects have great potential, its just if any of the potential actually materialises. The lack of updates, particularly with Moz and Oman is beyond frustrating, Q1 passes again with little news. Although been buying here for years I'm beginning to wonder if I should not just sell up and look elsewhere... sad but true. As another board commentator said we keep get promises of movement to licences / mining but in reality nothing.

Fantastic... ? well I was quite looking forward to Q1... well actually Q4 2018... well actually Q2 2018... oh so repetitive, just seems to drag on. I was buying because of Oman and Moz.. now don't get me wrong, Portugal looks great but things just seem to go from Q to Q. Very frustrated, just seems like the NHS, huge great big machine wasting time and money. Mining I understand can be drawn out.. BUT please give the investors a bit of info on direction.......

I don't think anybody would be sorry to hear anything half positive towards Moz or Oman, the news update silence is deafening.
