@PG
Well Seres achieved a Mcap of $3billion last years on a positive trial result for a hospital bug. Even though, (I believe) further trials were not so positive their valuation plummeted to $260m which is still over four times that of 4D.
We have a whole bag of goodies that they are trialing and so far (touch wood) the results have all been positive.
Some of these shots on goal are going to score.
The BOD have put a fair bit of their own dosh is this and that says a lot. For a start they must have thought £1.10 was a bargain. Yes we can all discuss their self awarded share options, however, they are worth f*all if this enterprise does not succeed. Obviously anything can fail, and there is that chance, however, Im invested here because I think the chances of it failing are a lot less than it succeeding.
If this succeeds I agree, £1billion valuation is conservative. This is where my money is.
Not sure about all this take over talk.
When feedback for Blautix eventually comes out of the FDA I am sure they will be firing up their manfacturing and packing plant, or sorting a licencing deal. This on its own will push the the SP back up easily north of £1.50, and demonstrate they are now in business.
I'm waiting for the £1billion plus valuation.
Loads of noise going on in this chat room. For what is is worth I have full confidence in this company. The science is good, trial results are good, and this may be controversial, I think they have a good BOD as well. OK, a few things need sharpening up, however, I am sure they will be on the case.
I will be buying more on Monday. Sub 24p is an absolute bargain.
Who dares wins...Rodney
I will be buying more this week. Full confidence this reward the brave.
@masterbates
Your mum must be so proud of you.
@davemcmanus
How do you think this company is going to produce a product that can be commercialised? Magic one out of thin air?
@rpstock
Absolutely. The yanks are bigger risk takers. If you sell the end game to them they will take the risk and buy.
Im sure they will ge there.
@michaelhigbar
Well we see things differently.
4D is a research company [institution] . Listing was a method to raise funds for further research. The argument I accept, but not necessarily agree with, is that the BOD should have been able to raise further funds earlier, or at least communicated to shareholders more. One could argue that fund raising has been difficult due to the current depressed bio market.
As I have stated before, for me, the end game is either the commercialisation of a product, and as a result the market will see real 'cash' value, or a buy out by a large pharma that can see the added value to their company. This also will depend on how close they are to achieving commercialisation, and the risk appetite of a large pharma. Blautix is the closest, as I see it, to this point.
I do agree with you regarding investor pitching, however, none of us are privvy to what is happening in the background (if anything).
Dilution may feel like a kick in the nuts, if they undertake one, however, if it gets us to the end game to reach full value I will be happy.
@PG,
Thats how I see it as well.
We are in a tough economic environment, and I think (my opinion only) that Duncan expected the yanks to throw money at them when they 'spac'd onto nazdaq. The thing is, and i did say this, over a year ago, the Americans are not deep thinkers, they like presentations to be slick, simple, and be able to understand whats in it for them. Not sure Duncan is the man for this approach. In short i have not seen or heard him sell it.
That said I am sure they will remedy the issues, and that is why I will be buying more shares in a couple of weeks time
Well if you dont think so, then your choice is to sell up and move on.
And as for dilution.......if it get them to where they need to be then so be it.
Im here for the 20-30x sp. Not the odd 20-30p.
This is not a trading company whereby the trading results have been poor due to incompetent management. 4D's output is scientific results. To date they have not dissapointed!
Jeez, everyone is running scared!!
If you believe the science 4D is undetaking will go onto to develop new medicine then all will be OK.
Ive been in this one for two years + and yeah the SP is not a true reflection of 4D value.
Will they sort funding out for the ongoing trials? Of course they will. Will it be dilution ? Maybe.
Will it be a funder? Maybe. Will it be a bit of both? Maybe.
Hey ho I'm here for the big one, and i am sure Duncan is as well.
This company will not fail
We will soon be back to £1.20........and that is still a bargain price.
Thanks for that interesting info PG.
140 employees
DP is still £500,000 down at this time. So I think he will have the motivation to make 4D a winner
More importantly I called you out a long time ago as a 'swinger' whilst you were trying make out that you were the 4D guru.
Get a life and move on. You are not worthy of any further interaction.
Green boxed with the rest of the disingenuous muppets!
Are we at £3 yet?
Onward and upward to £5!
I guess now the BoD invsted £1.5m of their own money, and have delivered great trial results, forged fantastic partnerships with the lagest pharmas, they will just sit in their offices drinking tea all day and let the company go down the pan!!!
