The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
@sharebel I'm not sure how much profit ODX'ers will be making today (think a lot was priced in and not manufacturing for a while) and I don't agree it's inevitable from today we'll move forward. The trouble at the minute is some 'investors' like to chance their luck of news not dropping and go elsewhere to chase rainbows to make a quick profit and jump back in from the sidelines nearer the time.
But I do agree HEMO is hugely undervalued and a re-rate is definitely due. Selfishly I'm ok with the current sp because I want to top up and don't have the funds yet, but if it does decide to fly this week then I won't complain :-)
They have finally hinted that we will find out the name at some point
"The Agreement stipulates certain confidential provisions, including, at this stage, the pharmaceutical company's identity".
I'm assuming the "at this stage" is because of the CDX work, so as @quickdraw says it's possible they will announce who Globalco is following the outcome of CDX (assuming successful of course). Definitely getting into an even bigger bed with this "leading global pharmaceutical company" though which can only be a very good thing imo
@technick this BB has just become repetitive BS and moaning with some posters systematically refusing to listen to what's actually being said by others here, and DB, regarding the known timeline - instead just trying to disrupt and cause panic unduly. I'm only going to pop every so often from now until news, when actual useful discussion might return
@quickdraw that’s a lot of cages! What’s the reason for the timeframes (6.4, 8.5 etc)? It’s probably obvious I’m just missing it. Also, have you just done 50% to estimate number of male mice?
@pingu there's no need to be so harsh and confrontational, not everyone here knows everything and some pose questions for their own learning or to challenge viewpoints. I don't think that's a problem, in fact it's what the BB is here for, to be a pool knowledge and discuss the share, not stress and argue - use the filter if people are annoying you. If you've done that much research and don't think you can learn anything new then why be here at all? I don't see the BB as toxic at all - you always get numpties at both ends of the spectrum, just filter them like I said. If you don't want to share your knowledge, and there's no reason why you have to, then don't, you aren't the be-all and end-all but there's no requirement to be rude to people just because you're frustrated, particularly as in @swimminginoil's case you didn't even read the post correctly before jumping into a rant first time around.
@jhfh thanks for giving a helpful pointer
@swimminginoil granted this is a crude comparison of mission statements, but what’s more likely given the work HEMO are completing with globalco? - Leidos is a Fortune 500 btw.
Leidos: “Leidos makes the world safer, healthier, and more efficient through information technology, engineering, and science.”
Lilly: “Lilly unites caring with discovery to create medicines that make life better for people around the world.”
@bigal apologies no, last year they did their unaudited trading update was on 09 July. I think DB was just mentioning that it's going to be part of the news flow in the next couple of weeks. That's obviously unlikely to show massive revenues but depending on the other news around it then I guess a trading update could perhaps be incorporated into it...
@flyingmachine yeh DB hinted at that in the presentation, with 'saliva' being asterisked because I think it wouldn't be the only specimen source (if not possible to make it 100% accurate) used in their POC test
I think @teabiscuit has got me on filter, either that or just blindly ignoring what DB has told us to try and sound clever - I unfiltered them a few days ago when there was some bickering to see what all the fuss was about - usual nonsense.
Can someone else post the below please? Because it's going to be boring if @teabiscuit comes back end of the month if no RNS yet trying to make out that GDR have let shareholders down, which fwiw they won't have done, although apparently @teabiscuit speaks for all of us...
Also, no one is locked in. Even if you're sitting on a loss, you could sell, chase some rainbows in other shares you've got your eye on and come back. So long as news doesn't land in the meantime then a movement of pence here isn't going to make a huge difference if you think you can make massive gains elsewhere whilst you wait.

@teabiscuit DB already updated us on timelines during the presentation Q&A on 12 June:
“I don’t see any reason why this won’t translate into significant business for us. I’d already communicated that we expected orders in June, so as a minimum we’re due an update early July. End of June is the end of our fiscal year, so we’re updating on that anyway and obviously if anything significantly price sensitive happens before that then we would update the market”
There was also no 'promise', it was said in the 22 May RNS "aims to record first commercial sales in June"

I think once GDR have proven that they can handle significant sales contracts with GD-96 then the value of AIHL, launching this autumn, may also begin to come to the fore. Revenue for 2019/20 was c. £1.0M so they have never had to deliver at this scale before, but once they can demonstrate to the market their commercialisation capabilities - with GD-96 as the big test for them - I think it's a game changer for the company moving forward

@blustington it’s not very good PR though is it... to me it reads “we’ve made a test, the sensitivity/specificity wasn’t good enough, we have to do more work before we have anything” there weren’t actually any details. GDR simply don’t work that way, they put out news when they actually have some
@redbox I assumed you were out... Given you told us that this was the runt of your stocks last week and you could've escaped with ~10% profit over the last few days, I find it odd you're still here. What's made you stay?
