As someone whom still works for Cna , i can confirm Cna still have 4000 gas & electrical engineers with a further 300 recruited since april 21 whom are currently going through the BG academys , after the 400 engineers left in april 21 for there own reasons. The engineers that left will surely be missed along with there experience , however in my humble opinion no group of individuals are invaluable , and the world will keep turning . For someone whom has worked for the business for 11 years and has taken a 3k drop in salary i still personally believe cna have made the correct decision with change in t&cs , we are also currently going through a further strategic review in reviewing contracts that are loss makers and those that make money with a reasonable margin to make sure our business is not buying work. Investment in air source and ground source heat pump training installation & service and repair is well under way , i belive sunny uplands ahead with cop 26 and the green agender just a few months away . Have to ask the question what other company has the scale of work force that can meet the requirements of EV, replacement of heating systems to meet our goverment and the worlds commitment to reducing carbon footprint moving forwards.
