I wonder if the dividend would be retained in the future? I see KKR dividend is a lot lower

Just a sense of opinion ,I’m new into this share and primarily started this route to build a dividend paying portfolio. With this potential sale would buying more what’s in this company be a silly decision until after this has been sorted either way? I am a long term holder in a gold company but new to this share and possible take over option. I appreciate everyone’s circumstances are different just after opinions. Thank you in advance

lovely to see this board is still all inclusive and accepting of peoples views that don't match their hopes. this board is supposed to be open to everyone and all views not just blind ignorance that this is the best share since sliced bread. how can anyone have an adult discussion when anyone that posts a different view is a classed straight away as a deramper? we all want this to do well but the current trend shows the possibility, no matter how much gold maybe in the ground, that maybe just maybe it won't be with ggp. you can go by facts that say there is gold there, granted there is a **** ton of it, but also facts that the share price has been decimated over the last few years. you cannot accept one fact and ignore the other. reply with deramper etc all you want, it bothers me not as i won't be back on for another month as we are unable to have an adult discussion on here.

Totally agree mate, there seems to be blind hope and every time it goes down, is always this is the bottom etc etc. Maybe just maybe emotion and hope needs to be taken away and look at what's happening. We can have as much hope and confidence in the asset but if the people and things that matter, that make the money it's as good and as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit.

I don't understand where this loyalty or devotion comes from personally. It's almost cult like in the defence of SD. He may be a really lovely genuine guy but he is an unknown quantity, ie he is not a personal friend he is a business man, a bloody good one maybe, but still a businessman. There was a devotion to the previous gaffer as well, maybe not to this scale. I cannot see what harm it does staying objective.

Totally agree, I have been saying this for some time elsewhere. We all gain to win or lose but no matter how good we believe SD is first and foremost he is a business man and I personally don't know him. I was always taught you don't trust people until you know them and then not whole heartedly. There is no guarantee and I personally do not look at SD as the saviour or messiah that some claim he is.
