Yes my biggest conviction stock too. This share has helped massively to get me out of a big hole where I have bought shares and too many of them have been diluted to oblivion.

During H1 2024, the Company repurchased 3,229,215 shares. Going forward it is likely that the number of shares in issue in only 3 years time could be in the high 50 millions range. Where will the share price be?

I didn't realise that big football tournaments take the shine off our trading. Nevertheless, a solid performance with cash passing the $1 billion mark for the first time. This company is a cash machine.

Even when the share price moves down more than usual, as it is doing today, the company buys more of it's own shares back...another win!!!!

The number of shares bought by the company on a daily basis seems to have reduced lately. Perhaps from Tuesday there could be a new impetus and hence an upward pressure on SP. There will probably be a 50/50 split again in terms of shareholder returns in divi/buybacks. I am favouring buybacks these days.

Given the nature of the business, how much cash do they need to hold?

I wince every year when I see these large payouts. This year c. £11.5 million, which will take about 1.5 months to buy back that volume of shares.

If the seller has dried up then there is only one direction this share is going. imo

Has anyone got a link to the paperwork needed to claim back the withholding tax on dividend for Plus 500?

If so, we should see an increase in SP. Simples.

Looking at the trades I think there is a constant seller who hasn't finished. When this seller is gone the share price will increase imo.

If Plus500 starts to gain traction the US then that could improve profits further leading to increased dividends.

If they could agree a good price with the seller then I am sure the company would buy them.

Personally, I am laid back about the depressed share price because I want to buy more shares at a lower price in November with my dividend.

Interim results and dividend declaration are due within two weeks or so. It is going to be interesting if the company is

to increase the dividend especially as the share buybacks have not pushed the share price higher. I know there are other factors affecting the share price including a large seller who is still selling.
