MMs aren't playing games. I fail to understand why people assume this. The trades are electronically measured so if they are reported as a fraction under or over the MID PRICE they are incorrectly marked. MMs don't play games. Making money is a serious business. I know as I did it for 30 years !
I think you're right BB. As I said there are a lot of long term holders who never thought they would see these levels so are happy to sell for a small profit/ loss. It'll take a while but if we can get to £18 it should be plain sailing after that. However, this is AIM
....I can cope with a tiny bit of a sell off after the strong week we have had. Holding up well for a Friday and no surprise some are taking their profits. I would much rather have a slow steady rise with some small drops than a spike. This is a quality company slowly building up to something massive.
Good weekend all and see what next week brings:)
Hi Crawshaw, I think there may be a large sell order holding us back here as if you check the trades they're all chunky buys this morning. I have been here a long time and, I know stock was bought at 18p (pre consolidation) so we may struggle to get through the next few levels up to £18 as there are sellers up to that level. I know some, not me. After that who knows. Personally I am sitting back waiting for the RNS's to roll in. Good luck all
Interesting that the MMs kept the bid at 14 squid. I think they are looking for stock. It'll more than likely break through £15 in the next couple of weeks (hopefully less) when all the traders are back from their Chrimbo holidays.
A new year, same old nonsense spouted . There are so many ducks lined up here there's a world shortage for the Chinese restaurants
Tovoc, I'm sure you're right. it's AQAA that bothers me. We want proper money for our shares not a pittance and some crappy share offer ! Anyway wait and see I suppose
Being a Boom holder certainly helps ! Merry Christmas one and all :)
Check out what I said 10 days ago. Like the plonker I am I only bought 165 shares. No worries Rodders, still making money, this is AIM and it is a risk. BUT WORTH IT SOME times YEEEEEHaaaH. Still not selling. MERRY CHRISTMAS
Hi Bluboyz, don't worry, many of us old timers bought these below a penny and watched it go over a squid and didn't sell. Probably greedy but when you have the Boss man screaming at you to "hang on to your GTs" ( Its too painful to write the words but you know what he spouted) you find yourself believing the Bar steward after several years of the same. Still here since 2009 ! My price prediction is : 2.30 - 60 :) Merry Christmas all
Gooner, I sincerely hope you are right. If tghey come up with another convoluted bid it will again knock us back. I wish and hope they will come up with a bid at least of £20. Good Chrimbo all
Hi Bigbench, I thought you were too long in the tooth here for all this positivity? :) BTW are you still in Echo, another pile'o'poop !
.....before 19th January :)
I moved £2.5k into the trading account to pounce @ 9.80 and what freakin' happens? Drat. Onwards and upwards my friends. I have a funny feeling things will go ballistic in the New year
Morning Goza, your post was one, if not the best and most reasonable post I have read on this board probably ever. Only been in this since 2009 and if someone says "patience" one more time Grrrrrr. Have a good day all
Don't fret, Pet :). If it goes below a tenner then Candy or Tobin will buy more and it'll jump back to £11 again. This is the apparent trading range and has been going on for a couple of months. I may purchase more under a tenner; why not if the bosses are ?
St M, whereas we squandered our hard earned on this poop! Who spends it more wisely ?
However, to be fair, not being a soothsayer, I also bought some above 14p (not too many) so I need £15 before all of 'em make money but my average is around £2.30p so I ain't grumblin'. Good weekend all
Boombang, me too. I think I bought a few below a penny back then, about a grands worth. I have a few so very happy. I can't see any point in me picking any more at this price as I'm not as rich as Nick Candy or Tobin ( until I sell some of my holding :) )
BoD, I totally agree. I'm keeping a very tight hold on mine and I paid way less than he is. Granted it was nigh on 8 years ago ! Hang on to them until he starts selling, which he won't, as it'll be the subject of another bid, I bet
