Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
JoeJoe,
Not only do you have to vastly upgrade the national grid which in itself will consume vasts amounts of energy to create it also you will have to massively increase the amount of charging points around the UK and more importantly to replace 1m deisel / petrol engine vehicles with electric vehicles you will need to build 6 additional power stations. There are 31 million none electric vehicles on the road at the moment so to replace all of them you will need to build 186 new power stations as well as infrastructure for them. Not only that Lithium is regarded as a rare element so just how much energy is going to be consumed mining it and is there enough to go around.
Going all electric is not the solution long term.

Then you'll also remember the crap Labour and the unions also brought down on the UK with the 3 day working weeks, constant strikes and the weekly power black outs. Just seems to me Labour goverments always spend beyond the UK's means and the next Government have to clean up the mess they leave behind. I'm not saying past Tory governments have been Angels but they had to do what they had to do to get the UK back up and running. Yes i do agree she went too far with the Miners but having said that It's not the Unions task to run the country, that's what Governments are for. So lets get back to UKOG, when do we expect the CPR to land Approx?
Lets not forget that the UK was practically bankrupted by the previous government which was Labour. The UK was on the Verge of going to the IMF for a bail out. The Oil Revenue was used by the Tory government to help save the UK and sort out the Financial mess the Labour government left us in.
Let's hope this time that some of the Oil revenue going forward is maybe put aside for a rainy day / wealth fund, pretty much like Norway have done.
I believe Argus is correct. UKOG not only have 46.7% in Horse hill but they also have a direct stake of 71.9% in HHDL which has a 65% interest in ped137 and ped246. You do the maths and here’s the link to UKOG website

IMO it's only the Shorter's and the Day traders who are wanting the long awaited RNS. They don't want to be burnt or miss out on the probable huge rise / rerate. Not knowing when the RNS will land has them nervously twitching lol.
Where's your evidence that you do not count the preparations days?
I'll stand corrected if they don't count but like i said the Flow testing operations had commenced according to the RNS issued on the 27th June, so i would say they do count.
It clearly states in the RNS on the 27th June that the flow testing operations have commenced so i would guess that it started maybe be a day or 2 earlier, say 25th June. And the EWT well test is for around 150 days according to the RNS issued on the 14th of June, So it could finish a little earlier, bang on 150 days or may run over a little beyond the 150 days which i think IMO may happen. If the results are good then they are wanting to flow test KL3 and KL4 together to further confirm flow rates and the model.
I've no idea when they would issue a RNS, that's up to HH Ltd but given that it flowed in 2016 and the Portland has has been tested and results exceeded expectations and has now been declared Commercial it bodes well for the other Zones being tested.

Cheers for that, i'll have a butchers at that over the weekend. I don't post regularly on here but i am a LTH.
So based on the figures it's quite reasonable providing no hiccups to have after 12 months - up to 8 wells in production just by using the profit from the oil produced
How about getting this well into production and using the profit from this to finance the next well and so on. That's what i would do. question is how much does it cost to drill and bring another well into production and how much revenue does the first well bring in annually. Has someone worked it out yet out of interest?
So what's the hold up? is he keeping it full for a presentation? only presuming a presentation with the flag going up. Seems a bit strange not to bring in more tankers to take away the stored oil. I'm not de ramping just curious as a fellow holder here
