Pointless? Hardly. Pretty significant in fact. As I said on here just over 10 days ago: “We know roughly what RNSs we are expecting in the short term, but the order they come in could make almost as much difference as their content.”

“And if s2 doesn’t come good it’s game over already”. Well, we all know that.

for BPC/CERP though - a significant RNS drops and (a) the first person to comment on it is me and (b) this is at 7:29am. CEG needs to reintroduce itself to retail.

I must admit to some relief that full financial transparency appears to have been deferred until after we have confirmation (1) that drilling has been completed and (2) of the total net pay across all zones. It is possible that it may even be deferred until after we have flow rates.

What purpose is served by a dividend until TRIN is actually reporting a profit and has lined up the funding it needs for the likes of Echo?

With big projects in view buy backs make no sense. If TRIN does not keep a decent wad of cash on its balance sheet, shareholders will get done over in the financing of any such project, or at least more done over than they would otherwise.
