I agree, can anyone find me a better share to be in. Already producing, with a plan to increase 5/6 fold in MJF over next 16 months. Very hopeful of getting a deep well to flow, with each well adding more than 3000 bopd and all funded by ongoing production. I am looking forward here to the next 16 months and next quarter more than ever.
You can`t blame the market for being a little cautious, we have had deep wells flowing before and then taken off flow test. This is still early stages and what on earth is an API of 84? When we have conducted a flow test at ~ 3000bopd for 90 days then I think we will see a rerate.
As I understand it, the oil isn`t there in one big reservoir bur in oil bearing rock that is porous, You would need to know the porosity and how much we can recover from the rock to evaiuate this field. If we guess 10% porosity that would mean £3.50 per share given 20% recovery.
Seems about right to me!
This surely must make one of the big boys take note, if I was a shareholder in bhp or rio etc, I would be asking the board why don`t they cascabel out for say $5 b and have a licence to print money for 50 years or so
Just sold out as with directors like him I can have no trust here. The tories haven`t even managed to get us out of Europe yet and already want to take us to war for a bit of rock.
Have you told Mr. Limerick or whoever has just purchased some shares at 10.85? Please do so with your reasoning.
Impressive grades 2.5-5 g/tonne, should be very profitable..
This has had a good run but is still at a big discount compared to the NAV, so especially with the but back scheme is great value.
Tesco will surely have to close some of its stores soon. They are very strong in the south, where they seem to have saturation coverage. We are not over represented in that area, so could pick up stores in an area where we have no overlap which could be good for growth and profits..
We will find out tomorrow how MRW fared over the crucial xmas quarter. Judging by some decent buying today we have probably done ok.
JJ nobody knows what the share price will be following consolidation but you should receive £18k in the share payout(based on £1 a share), and a further £2k Dec 2016. Looks a good bet to me!
You are right Paddy, Halifax in ntheir notification have got it wrong but if you read the RNS from 9/Nov it states that the company intends to return £414m to shareholders. That equates to 90p per share before.consolidation (£9 after). The timetable of events is then set out: Court hearing 16/12 at 10am Record date 17/12 at 6pm Consolidation record date18/12 at 6pm cheque dispatch 31/12 This means that if you are registered on 17/12 you will receive the90p before the consolidation and it will be paid out on or about the 31st if the court agrees.
I will correct you paddybear, you will receive the same amount. Read the RNS again.
Keithnsandra, i don`t agree that Aldi beats Morrisons for freshness or quality. For meat, fish and veg Morrisons is still the best and IMO value for money and getting better with the new leadership..
