The over ambitious projects like Sakhalin are just pipe dreams, considering the board still can't seemingly conclude negotiations after many years. Dangling the Sakhalin Hydrogen project is pathetic and reminds me of Oracle Power and it's dangling of several pipeline projects, when they can't even get the basic bread and butter Coal Thar project sorted. Even the most ardent supporters like Keith are expressing misgivings now. I think it'll inevitably be the same here.

This RNS today and it's legal farce involving over 10% of the company ensures that there can't be a successful conclusion of sale of asset(s), whilst ownership is contested. This could take at least two years if the original dispute between Eurasia and Queld is anything to go by.

This latest RNS has just booted the can a further two years down the road.

Whatever the board says in neutrality, its obvious that just like the war, these legal shenanigans involving Queld will affect the company.

There simply is no way anyone would want to buy significant asset(s) for the sums quoted when there's significant legal issues surrounding ownership of 10% of the company.

Nobody in their right mind would depart with money in these situations involving court cases

This RNS basically means that this sale of assets, which has dragged on for well over three years, will continue to drag on for a few years more. We're talking of more than 10% of the company's ownership. If a sale is agreed, then how can the company put it to shareholders in an EGM, when there's a legal battle regarding who the rightful owner of a major part of the company is.

Who would want to buy assets from a company where ownership over 10% of the company is in dispute and it's all going through the courts.

Surely any prospective buyers would want things crystal clear and without any legal disputes and on going court cases.
