People are allowed to state what they think here and im simply speculating there will be thousands who have set their TP to £3 who may have bought in 2020 that want the easy profit.

If it gets close to 320 this side of christmas im probably going to dip too. People may regret their actions but weather or not you are on the right side of the coin when it drops is down to your risk and patience appetite.

RRs success is currently looking very beneficial to my re-mortgage next year. I guess I was just hoping for a little more down to earth discusison on here rather than the current head in the sky optimism.

Unfortunatly its in my nature as a pessimist/realist.

No I didn't unfortunately as I have a day job funnly enough. But I caught up where I could and read the litrature I could be assed to read.

I mean they did sell some more engines this year and they are now one step ahead of the airfraimers with ultrafan not having any customers yet and being 'shelved' until someone wants to utilise the tech. A customer for this would be more beneficial in the mid term for the sp in my view.

I'd really like to see them re-enter the narrow body market and take some market share there.

To see sustained future growth I believe this would require some sort of unlinking of RR profits and flying hours. Given another Covid pandemic RR is most probably done in its current form. I'm anticipating a gentle downturn in the near term atleast. This Tufan santa rally is surely unsustainable. Though I could be completely and utterly wrong!

Tufan has stated his sky high targets but thats off the back of a company which had almost 3Bn in debt back in Aug.

I do like Tufans spiel and that the company appears to now have a more financially literate CEO not afraid to stand up to its industry.

However, this recovery appears to me to be simply the market realisation of the post covid return to (almost) normal for wide body flights around the globe.

You can chat all you want about SMRs but its all speculative. Bear in mind the likely change in gov next year ontop of world gov uncertainty around housing lots of small nuclear terrorist targets around their territories I think personally, that is a much longer ball game.
