Who is the seller? And why is he offloading..

I thought the RNS is telling that they had 23,977M share b4 the transaction and 17,6M after the transaction... Still holding 3,61% after the transaction...

Maybe im wrong but the RNS says that Senator sold just above 6M shares... Isnt it?

Yes i was in Afren... But the RNS of yesterday does niet cover the 23M shares..

what happend with that 23M share trade.. No RNS on that. Could it be a sales transfer? Or maybe there was no trade..any thoughts..

why there was no drop in share price if someone sold 21 mill shares at once... ?!

peteb308 I know its on the web site.. So c. 70% II's are invested in Lekoil.. Why would they invest in Lekoil if it was a corrupt Nigerian company?! And c.15 % invested by BOD...

Is it normal that they kept the offer secret from the shareholders?! Even now the company is in administration.. I dont think that the offer was 0p.. Then the shareholders would not have approved it.. So why should Seplat offer 0p.. Is it possible to get the information about the offer from afren or Seplat threw the court?!

Isnt it that Afren as the parent company is the owner of the subsidiaries of Afren??! Maybe they have put all the assets in the subsidiaries... I think the chairman is the mastermind in this whole Afren story... He is still chairman of one of the subsidiaries...

If the shares are worthless, why is he offering 5p? Isnt it better for him to wait and close his shorts at 0p? Making 100% profit.. I dont understand why he wants to pay for shares?! Any thoughts?!

Granto Will the administrators try to sell some assets to pay some debt so a slimmer Afren can go further as a going concern?And will the current shareholders still be the owners of the new Afren? Is all of this a possibility?!

If there will be a thinner Afren after the administration, who will be the owner of it?! Isnt it that the admistrators have to sell every asset on auction?!

if there is a new slimmer Afren.. Do they current shareholders hold there shares in the new afren? And can the subsidiaries of Afren go further without current shareholders?!

Is it possible for the BOD and BH to transfer the Afren assets to these new companies without approval of shareholders? Leaving nothing in Afren plc for the shareholders?! Isnt it that the ownership of these new companies is by shareholders of Afren.. Coz these companies are setup under Afren plc?! Any thoughts!!
