Anyone out there can give their thoughts on the "automated" trades "A" trades. Much more of them today on the sell side.
Where is everyone seeing that Ervington is gone or reducing holding?
@Convb is pulling his hair out now lol. Sub 6 never happened
I'm sure they will sell a reactor or two by then ;)
I'm sure they will see a reactor or two by then ;)
They have only paid 2.5m with an option of a deferred consideration of 8m with a JV (from my memory)
Or is this specifically for sole purpose of buying Altalto?
What does everyone think of Rula Developments acquisition? Looks like Rula have done several developments so far...
Expatbrat what are you talking about?
Will there be an announcement today on the GM of the placement this morning?
Is there a vote to take place? Who's allowed to vote and how do you vote?
Don't the shares go into the circulation from the 16th or 17th?
@convb I'll be surprised of a sub 6 and if it does reach sub 6 it will be very short lived IMO. I don't think Omnicron will be that bad - and if I'm correct that should be confirmed no later then mid Jan after Xmas and New Years out the way. Trade volumes are low even from sellers prospective but I think buyers are trying to find that ultimate low Price to jump in at - which is similar to your strategy.
@ convb I agree. This new variant it's causing a lot of turbulence.
@convb I know the price is going to fall and go up. I'm happy with my avg SP. if it drops I buy more as I know the price will boom. The main institutional shareholders bought in way higher. Look at Landsdowne they bought more at a lower price. Most people on this chat believe in velocys. You keep blasting it but surely you know the potential in this stock. So please provide more value added info instead of trying stating the obvious. Most of us also know the inherent nature of this stock is volatile so if someone says the price will go down or up they are both right especially if they don't provide dates.
@convb I am invested in Aemetis. I have a bigger position in Velocys because I prefer their product. Do you have a problem with that?
Are you invested in Velocys?
Not many other companies have the tech to convert household waste to SAF. That's the upper hand in VLS. It's not just a SAF producer but also a waste management company however you see it. Aemetis, GEVO and current producers don't do this. They are converting oils, animal fat , etc etc. So they are one dimensional. When their inputs go up their output will cost more. Household waste on other hand won't - councils and waste mgmt companies will pay VLS or just give it away free. This is in my opinion is the key! Plus VLS owns rights to space tech. We going to the moon. Be patient and be smart. We got this !
Personally I think VLS see value in the company. This is only my opinion but I think the issue back in the Shell prospective days is they wanted to use their muscle to force VLS into "giving the company" or majority of JV into their hands. VLS don't want to "give" the company away unless the price is right and to the right investor which comes with time. Which is a good thing. Only my speculation though.
When the placement goes into circulation what do you think will happen? I think if it's voted in then they go into circulation on 16th (correct if I'm wrong)
So if SP is higher the rights issue of 8p what will PI do? Hold or sell and if scenario the around way around? ( this is only short term view- either way I'm a LT holder.
It's probably due to the placement. In order for sellers to sell they have to sell below market price as current shareholders are guaranteed to buy additional shares at 8p. This is only a thought but please share your ideas. I think prospective investors are observing til omnicron passes over and additional good news arrives
@jzchat my opinion is that Velocys won't go bust (even though it's been around for several years I class it still in Start up stage - moving out of R&D) it's raised more cash plus it has MOU's in place that shows revenue potential. I think Omnicron has shaken up investors + covid is stalling the airlines industry hence why I think the price has dipped mixed with placement. There will be serious upside within the next 6-12 months. I don't think many people even know what SAF is - even during COP26 not much mention about it. This will hit 30p at some point so I'm comfy holding an an AVG SP at just over 9p cause bonds and interest in my bank account do nothing for me. Even if it takes 5 years plus. My own house doesn't have that upside potential. That's my thought. I also don't stress about SP going from
8 to 7 or 8 to 6. I just buy more and I know the price in which I will walk away. I trust in this stock. It just needs more publicity in the industry and the company itself.
