Heard of similar things happening with gold bars. From memory they had tungsten inserted which is a similar density.

Didn't realise but UBS downgraded FRES yesterday from hold to sell with a target price of 700!

That's the weird thing with FRES, always seems to perform contrary to expectations!

I find it fascinating how we had such a surge in the silver price on nothing much more than rumour and speculation.
Imagine what would happen if there was a well considered plan to target silver?

That said, meme culture ,although lacking in depth, can be quite powerful - I may try and corner the market for MAgGA baseball caps!

Is the panic over and will normal service resume or is this just a pause for breath.

Colour me cynical but I've seen too many false dawns with fres!

I suspect you're right in that some have cashed in the defensive to pursue 'normal'stocks. As others have said, despite the vaccine being fantastic news, there is an awfully big bill to paid.

Silver seems to be holding steady(ish) but the vaccine announcement has seemingly changed sentiment significantly. Hope it's an over reaction and we see some claw back!

Good timing on closing out - I managed to miss it. Was watching the green this morning and thought "I really should set a stop loss!" Next viewing we've gone from +50 to -30. 250 point range in a day!

I hope you're right about it being a blip - the big stimulus isn't going to go away.
