Folio, hoping you're right, seems like a lot of upward pressure on silver today. Last week or so has been quite rough but with Fres surprisingly resolute.

Another sudden dip in the spot price. Will be interesting to see how it plays out

Silver took a beating overnight so an interesting day ahead. Always sceptical of dramatic drops in the early hours but we will see how it plays out

Any idea as to this morning's drop? Silver seems to be holding up and no apparent news.

Inevitable claw back after weeks of climb? Shorts closing? Tree shake?

Spot price recovered to open levels. That sharp drop didn't really reflect on the Fres price which is hopefully indicative of some confidence in the direction of travel for silver

I've noticed on the 15 minute chart for the last few days the occassional strong spike downwards followed by a very prompt recovery. The scale of today's drop was a lot greater but it does seem to be edging back.

I would like to think as long as silver prices are rising we shouldn't experience a major pullback.

One thing has got the spider senses tingling - a Motley Fool endorsement after yesterday's close! If ever there was a canary in the coal mine...

How much more momementum is there in this rise? Every day since the close of 16 May has been green, up circa 30% since then. Will buying sustained by the rise in the silver price outweigh profit taking?

Although I suspect that will trigger some sells

Spot is now 35.30 - absolutely charged through 35 which I understand is/was a resistance point

Silver inching towards USD35 per ounce...

Had the dividend notification in my Lloyds account yesterday afternoon and cash in this morning

Has anyone received their dividend in a Lloyds share dealing account?

Thanks for the update RW albeit sad news. Paul was one of the mainstays of the board certainly for the (many) years I've been visiting. It's a great shame that he won't be around to see the results of Scancell's efforts, whatever that may be.
