RE: This is by no means financial advice...3 Feb 2021 14:04
I have actually done exactly this. I took out half of my holding today at 27p. This was still at a loss for me. But what I am left with in EUA, I am much more comfortable with. IF, the sale happens and we get 50p per share. It covers my loss and about £500 profit. If it's higher, then I would be really happy. When the sp dropped to 14p I was significantly down and it was more than I can afford to lose. If it drops now, I won't be so worried. I've took the money and invested elsewhere. Hopefully is something more stable, as well as diversifying the portfolio.
Keep the losses small, so the gains of 50% can really increase the value of your portfolio. :)
