Hi Bp, You can increase your holding instead of taking cash. bag a gain either way if that has been done. Maybe other people play this share a diffrent way. It becomes obvious when they do not hold any shares. I mean to say that selling something you haven't got could be expensive if you are caught out. The volumes of trades may increase, lack of news may scare some holders to sell then again we've been told good news due in regard to the lone. Now the 'goal post' have moved the derampers set up a new stratergy. Miss direction, subderfuge & an air of panic. I am not saying that all investers play the markets this way every time, but some do imo.
I would like to here BP's take on this post as he say's he holds no shares? Perhaps his look on it might not be one that I agree with but as he holds no shares & he has responed to most posative post. his opinion might cheer us all up. After all it is nerely christmas.
The mention of dividend my keep paul Forest from selling shares for the time being. A buy back may give Mr Forest enough cash to consider not to sell out his shares for a while longer. Angus is now in a much stronger position after the new financing deal.
GL. has mensioned a dividend several times in the past. That may have been just whistful thinking but given there has been changes in the BOD. I am not holding my breath for any dividend to be paid in the nere future. Money maybe allocated for other prodjects but again they may deside to reward the share holders in some way. Maybe a buy back of shares might be considered.
On the costs of interest rates. That is a cost that can be written off against revenue. The terms of the debt are imo. much better. 5 years & a reduced percentage rate will reflect on the bottem line stablizing any further outlook for the company. Some have been pointing out this news to be a negative. For me I see it as being very possative.

BP, thanks for your reply. I do believe you, then again if this is the begining of winter then it is possible that demand for gas will increase. Given the levels that maybe used over the next three months for electric & home heating it looks good to me. The main issue is servicing of the debt & new loan fassillity. The first seems to cover the hedges & some. The second is yet to happen.
Cold weather has finally arrived & there seams there is little wind around this morning. Gas production is moving on up gradually perhaps in time to achieve top price in comming weeks. So far gas price has not fallen below £1 for some time. I do believe that Angus mentioned that staying above a pound was their target.
The buy in level has been stable for a while despite some of the issues raised which are being answered as time goes on. For me the biggest question is, I hope, going to be answered with in a fairly short time. Now lets see if they can get that loan to service the debt.
BP yes price on therms could be better but still over £1. Some times a mild winter means a short one although this might just be a late one. In the past I rember some very cold days in march. winter could still be 3 months of cold weather to give the gas price a boost.
As to gas production for sales that is still very much up & down. As you have mentioned there are ways Angus will have to deal with this.
Yes true BP the price is what it is on wholesale. market have hammer this to a share level that some whould take as a come and buy me level that is why you think someone is considering a takeover.
Well I have to say there's not enough movement to suggest that. but only who knows.
BP. The rise in interest over shares could be down to whether forcast getting colder. As the need for gas peeks, price for gas goes up, more money profit on gas sales & less problems with finances makes this share have legs. Depending on demand will show how fast this will move.
Investverysmart, pardon me for asking? These are two questions that I ask myself. could you give your reasons to the questions?
Any idea what the terms of the loan will be? How long do you think the term will be? I do believe that we may have to wait until January to find out. until then many people could pick up a bargin if they can be shore indeed the share has hit the bottom.
I do enjoy some of your rants but some how I don't think an appolagy will make any differance. Time will tell the truth. I can say that besides sighie's comments his figures have been of use to me. Ocelot also a good read but you always make the mistake of trying to make things personal.
I was how ever intrested in your chat with BP. I will continue to read your comments.
Thankyou.
WG, I think your infomation is also out of date. Opions aside Ocelot did indeed tell you about information you got wrong. I suppose, for you, it is a case of point of view before facts & figures. Never mind.
