The issue is we have only had one Trustpilot review relating to the new DNA test. If they were flying off the shelves, you would expect to have had many more reviews, but that hasn't happened.

They did mention in the AGM report that 'A more comprehensive trading update for the six months ended 30 June 2022 will be provided in mid-July'. The term 'comprehensive' seems encouraging: perhaps that is what's delaying its release as they collate and double-check the figures.

Yes Dactions. Surely they must realise that an effective marketing strategy is vital. Perhaps all will be revealed at the AGM. It's all well and good having a visually aesthetic website which can be easily navigated, but interested customers need to be directed to it, especially as the products are very good. That's why the Boots and Lloyds' connections were so pivotal to MHC's success last year. BTW, I bought a Fit-to-Fly test from them last year and have not received any marketing notices via email relating to the new DNA test: it is said “It’s easier and much less costly to keep a customer than to acquire a new one.” '

I must say that was my distinct impression at first, but I did check and found that the same person had a couple of other reviews (one on the MHC covid test) and ones on unrelated products which seem to imply they are all genuine. Still, let's see if there are some more over weeks ahead.

Separately, I think we need to know about how they plan to advertise and market these DNA tests. The Boots' contract afforded the Covid test coverage and it's what we need to get potential customers aware of these new ones.

"Having used their PCR tests last year and been very impressed, I was interested to see them launch the DNA Wellness tests. These analyse your DNA and produce a tailored report on a number of health related areas. I chose the heart health and weight management tests - not that I’m particularly overweight, but I do have a tendency to eat what I shouldn’t.

The weight DNA analysis was really eye opening - a 20 page report that looked at a number of common areas that people struggle with. It really helped explain where I was going wrong in trying to control my diet and what I should and shouldn’t be doing exercise wise and eating,to give me the best shot at maintaining a healthy weight.
At £54 it’s not expensive considering it’s your health and probably a month’s gym membership, so to my mind money well spent.
Looking forward to the heart results in the next couple of days and also what other tests they’ll release.
I do think this is the future of personalised medical profiling - it’s commonplace in the US from what I’ve seen and really does show how your genes affect so many areas of your life.
Ordering process was simple (their website) and the sample collection and kit activation really well explained.

I didn't take up the December open offer, much to my regret, but in this and the previous offer were SH permitted to purchase more than their entitlement and was this granted?
